Turning Tides Contest *claim digimon*

*Just a simple contest to prepare you for Tamer Island's Halloween Contest.
~ The remaining demon lord tamers from the demon lord contest before have been left undetermined so I'll host one since the captain is away to host one.



Leviamon, the most physically strong of any monster in the Digital World is said that it sleeps in the seabed of the Net nearest the Dark Area, that its jaws are enormous enough to swallow even the Digital World, and that it creates the foundation for the existence of wickedness.

A brave young man volunteered to slay leviamon but he needs your help in constructing a strategy in killing leviamon.



"Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope? Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook? ...Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears?"

~The Diagram of the scene. This challenge will test your wit in constructing a plan. The one who constructs the most heroic/triumphant plan shall obtain the Levia Ring which summons Leviamon to their side granting them a Leviamon Partner.

The Hero starts off with Whamon at his side. Seems like whamon are happy to help. The Hero wields a rod and a rusty Excalibur. He doesn't know any magic yet so he cannot use magic at first however he has unbelievable strength to slay any digimon in the water with his excalibur except for Leviamon. Magic is the only thing that can kill Leviamon.



~The Items:
1. Excalibur~ An Old Sword. Can slay 1 monster except for Leviamon. Breaks after being used.
2. Aqua Orb~ Gives Aura to the Hero's Rod allowing him to cast magic. He still needs the Book of Conflagration or Scroll of Fulguria to cast spells though. Guarded by MegaSeadramon.
3. Piercer~ Can slay any creature including Leviamon!
4. Levia Ring~ A prize of Victory from defeating Leviamon. Guarded by Leviamon.
5. Poster of Teleportation~ Allows bearer to teleport back to the surface. Can also be used to teleport to a nearby digimon and take the stuff they are guarding(?)
6. Magic Sand~ Blinds a target digimon so you can take the item they are guarding. Can blind any digimon in the water. Guarded by Octomon.
7. Book of Conflagration~ Guarded by Whamon and you can only choose in taking this or the scroll of fulguria. Can be used to let the hero cast spells along with the Aqua orb.
8. Scroll of Fulguria~ Guarded by Whamon and you can only choose in taking this or the book of conflagration. Can be used to let the hero cast spells along with the Aqua orb.
9. Rod of Ichoria~ Can Slay Leviamon. Needs the Aqua orb and Scroll of Fulguria/Book of Conflagration in order to cast spells.
10. Baby Wolf~ Can be used as bait while you take the item the digimon are guarding.
11. Charm Potion~ Guarded by Coelamon. Can charm the digimon who drinks the potion. Can be used in order to take the item they are guarding.
12. Feather~ Tickles digimon. Guarded by Seadramon. You can use this to take the item they are guarding.


The Hero starts off with these items:
1. Excalibur
2. Rod of Ichoria
3. Poster of Teleportation

The items which are free to take right away without any digimon guarding it
1. Piercer
2. Baby Wolf

The items which are guarded by a digimon
1. Aqua orb- Megaseadramon
2. Levia Ring- Leviamon
3. Magic Sand- Octomon
4. Book of Conflagration- Whamon
5. Scroll of Fulguria- Whamon
6. Charm Potion- Coelamon
7. Feather- Seadramon

~You do not need to use all items in order to arrive at your goal. Use only the items necessary.
In just 5 moves, you can already emerge triumphantly.
This is an example:
1. Slay Seadramon with Excalibur and get the feather.
2. Use the feather to tickle Coelamon.
3. Get charm potion while coelamon is laughing.
4. Let leviamon drink charm potion and get the Levia Ring while charmed.
5. Use poster of teleportation to return to surface.

2. get piercer
3. use baby wolf on metalseadramon to get aqua orb while hes not looking
4. kill whamon to get the book of conflagration
5. use excalibur on octomon to kill him and get the magic sand
6. blind leviamon with the magic sand
7. kill leviamon with magic and get the ring
8. teleport to the surface
(crap XD i frogot to use magic instead of piecer. didn't think that through sweatdrop ugh and I also see I just got it from whalemon becasue I thought it was the one helping you sweatdrop )

1. Take the baby wolf and piercer.
2. use the baby wolf as bait on megaseadramon (poor wolfy)
3. use excalibur on the other Whamon and steal the Book of Conflagration
4. fire the magic rod from the piercer to K I L L leviamon and steal his item.
5. teleport to the surface

2.then get the piercer
3.use the baby wolf on Megaseadramon and take the orb
4.use thepiercer on whamon and get the book
5.use the magic on octomon and get the sand
6.then blind Coelamon and take the potion
7.use the potion on Leviamon
8. victoryosly teleport back to the surface

1. Get the Aqua orb from Metalseadramon by slaying the beast with the rusty sword of ancient heroes Excalibur!

2. Swim towards the surface where the baby wolf is and take it with you as you dive downwards once more

3. Set the wolf free and snatch the feather from the sea serpent Seadramon when the reptile digimons is no longer looking after it. Be sure that the Seadramon does not eat the wolf pup, because a hero never allows an innocent little creature to die.

3. Dive deeper to where Whamon is guarding his treasures, tickle the whale digimon with the feather (you don’t want to kill him since it is a Whamon who is currently helping you) and steal the Scrool of Fulguria from him when he is busy laughing and giggling

4. Swim towards the demon lord’s whereabouts. When arrived stand on top of Whamons back, yell something incredibly heroic before chanting the magic words and then use the Aqua orb and the Scroll of Fulguria to cast a spell on the raging sea digimon. An immense magic explosion follows, the demon lord digimon returns to his rookie state and starts to drift towards the sea bottom in an unconscious state, save him before he disappears into the darkness and take the small digimon with you. Remember to get the Levia ring as your price

5. Swim towards the light of the sun. Appear above the ocean surface with the ring held high above your head, hold the sleeping rookie digimon to your chest with your other arm as the sun sets behind you.

2. Slay MegaSeadramon with Excalibur to get Aqua Orb
3. Use Baby Wolf as a diversion on Seadramon to get Feather
4. Use Feather to tickle Coelamon and get Charm Potion while laughing
5. Use Charm Potion on Whamon to get Scroll of Fulguria while charmed
6. Use Rod of Ichoria, Scroll of Fulguria, and Aqua Orb on Leviamon to defeat Leviamon and achieve Levia Ring.
7. Teleport back to surface with scroll

Just a tip, we are in a "water" setting. 'tis a mind boggler.
There are lots of unnecessary items here, only few are the real items the hero needs in order to emerge triumphantly.

This will measure a person's ability to think^^

(Are you referring the the part with coaxing? I guess I should have phrased that differently. I tricked the coelamon with the baby wolf, to get the potion. I then used the potion to get the book from whamon. I should not have used coaxed twice....oops.)
