*Sigh*

Ever since university started last year, I've been getting more symptoms of anxiety disorder...
And I try to break away, have fun and relax, then school work piles up, and my family responsibilities keep growing.
This just adds to my stress and guilt...and the cycle continues.

During my first exams last year, I felt seriously sick and threw up.
This year, I feel myself getting easily sick whenever I even think of something stressful.

Anyone here suffer anxiety disorder and have any tips?
I seriously DON'T want to get professional help.
Being treated like a fragile person? NO THANKS.

I'd rather just quickly and painlessly get over this and get on with my life ...

A timed schedule you set up outside of classes will REALLY help you! I'm in my first term of my first year of college and am already stressed. Writing simple messages on a white board helps a lot!
Make a schedule like this, for example:

*blah blah blah - to- blah blah blah o'clock: school time

*blah-to-Blah* : homework time

*blah-to-blah* : bath time

*blah to blah* study time

*blah to blah* : hang with friends/family..

A schedule like this will really help you a lot! trust me! wink

I agree with Lizard

Also, find something that will keep you going! I have specific goals that I work towards. Not all of them are school related.
But do what makes you happy, but make sure you save time for school.

I know that when i was younger i thrived by having a set scheduel. In the army i pretty much had a set scheduel for the first six months. after that i didn't really have a set scheduel. I used to have somewhat of an anxiety problem but the set scheduel helped me greatly.

That tends to happen to me especially when I wait for tests or report cards for example if I'm afraid of a bad grade I start to hyperventilate.

Edit: May I recommend a nice warm bath with a bunch of scented candles and white noise? Meditation works too. Just try to relax
