On a more serious note, it is a manga which is classified as shounen but erm... reaaaally looks shojo in some bits (check it out to see).
Though i suppose it could be either or.
Its horror, mystery and somewhat historical (set under Queen Victoria) but contains elements that are too awsum to have ever happened (i.e its an anime/manga ==||)

Bah, its just cool go watch/read it dammit~!

The shoujo part is a lie!! : O It's just an aesthetic front!! Jk, it's kinda both, with a touch of comedy.

I like the anime, it represents the manga well. smile
