You're right, except for the begging part. This forum of WN is all about questing. But, this thread doesn't seem to be about questing or donating at all.
If you're just trying to make a thread where people can beg, begging is, unadvised. But for questing, most people make their own quest threads, to tell people how far they are in their quests.
I'm just going to take a guess that you haven't looked too hard in this subforum yet.
