I am currently a Jr. Black Belt in Chun Kuk Do, oddly enough a stlye created by Grand Master Chuck Norris. I have been going for at least 6 years (It's more I just stopped counting at 6) and I love it! (i just wish my classates were a little more determined. [and sparred better.])

I really like martial arts and was a yellow belt in Brazilian (the following words might be misspelled) twai quan do when I was in fourth grade, but I quit after I moved. I really liked it and wish I could go back, but we only have just regular karate dojos where we live, which makes me a little upset......

No offense but: LOL xP Your all learning Tae Kwon Do! And thats sutch a lame martial art compared to so many others! In Tae Kwon Do, you jump around to much, you dont have a proper guard up, some attacks have you turn your back on the enemy! In a real fight these are all dangerus factors!
I myself fight using Drunken Boxing, and I teach others aswell.. And I asure you! That works wink Im a norwegian soldier and Close Combat training is a big part of what I do.

Between Tae Kwon Do and Karate, i don't know which one i find more dangerous from a spectator's point of view. i'll just stick to my Miyamaryu Jujitsu, which is also pretty dangerous for anyone on the offense. I'm just an orange belt xp

Shotokan Karate. Twelve and a half years. I should have had my black belt at LEAST two years ago, but various problems (both knees injured through school, multiple months both times out of karate and physical therapy prevented me from testing, then the requirements for testing changed, then an ankle injury due to an accident took me out right before my final chance to test, it still doesn't work right), have prevented me from completing my goal. Now I'm a freshman in college with no way to currently go very far off campus to go to class at a Shotokan Dojo... and I will not abandon Shotokan and start another form until after I get my black belt... I promised too many people I would get it and it's been probably the biggest thing in my life since I was five. Actually until college... I'd never gone longer then at most a month from January of my kindergarten year, without either hitting or being hit... now that I don't fight every week I get restless and I really REALLY miss it...

I think it's cool. And also would love to practice some, but I'm afraid of broken bones... Is that a myth?
