What if I told you.....Life seems pretty normal for Raevyn - Going to school, staying alive, keeping his secret hidden, etc. All completely normal things for a were-cat. Until the day when a pack of were-wolves moves into town. The wolves catch his scent and decide to have a little 'chase-the-kitty' fun. In his efforts to escape them, Raevyn runs afoul of a car. Though he was hit in his human form, he instantly reverted to his cat form because of the pain. The wolves leave him for dead, which is just what he himself is thinking. Until she comes along. She takes the cat home, cares for him, despite his protests. Who can say what will happen? Will she find out just how odd her new 'pet' is? .....that I wasn't what I seemed?

The world isn't what it seems.....
Do we really need rules? No? That's what I thought. Moving on now. Just a basic little profile, to get things started. I know you don't like them, so nothing in-depth. Really just a starter thing. "(quote from character)" (image here) To those who know me, I'm called (name) And if you really must know I'm (age) I'm always (personality) Oh, by the way, extra .....and things you'd never dreamed of exist.

Tiger's Profile "Maybe being a black cat is bad luck......"^ cat form ^ v human form v To those who know me, I'm called Raevyn KuroAnd if you really must know I'm 18I'm always fun loving and play. Right up until I feel threatened. Then I show you why the term is hellcat, not helldog. I get defensive and lash out verbally and physically.Oh, by the way, my abilities include - shapeshifting between human and cat, and telepathy when I feel like it. Even in my human form, my senses are extremely sharp. When I'm sick, hurt, tired, or asleep, I revert back to my natural form of a cat. I also heal slightly faster than normal cats or humans.

Mouse's Profile"No one is ever wrong, per say."To those who know me, I'm called Ashriel MorganAnd if you really must know I'm 18I'm always cheerful. Well, right up until you say that I'm wrong. About anything. No. Just don't do that, and we can be great friends. When I get an opinion, or a plot, or just about anything for that matter, stuck in my head, there is no point in trying to talk me out of it. You might say I'm stubborn. I'm known for my slightly sexist point of view, but that never stopped me from being friends with guys...I just think that girls are smarter than guys. Everyone calls me a genius, and I'm not about to tell them otherwise.Oh, by the way, I was kicked out of the family house when I turned eighteen. I moved into a small one-bedroom apartment...but I'm having issues paying the rent. Shh...don't tell anyone, not even my best friends know. I don't want to worry them.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn muttered a curse, glancing behind him as he ran. He didn't need to look though. He could still hear those damn wolves chasing him. They - and himself for that matter - were in human form though. A wolf pack running through the city was a little dangerous and could possibly expose them. The were-cat looked forwards again, leaping easily over the objects lying on the floor of the alley. That stupid pack was gaining on him! He leaped from the mouth of the alley, crossing the street without looking.
It proved to be his undoing though. So focused on the chase was he, that he didn't hear the car until it slammed into him. He let out a screech of pain, instantly turning into a pitch-black cat. He went flying from the force of the impact, landing heavily on the sidewalk. He snarled up at the wolves as they stood above him. "Leave him. He'll die soon enough." The leader said, shaking his head and walking away. Raevyn just snarled defiantly, though he knew they were probably right. He could feel his back leg was broken and cut, bleeding heavily. Smaller cuts and bruises dotted the rest of his feline body. Hissing in pain, he worked to drag himself into the alley he'd been running out of in the first place, trying to hide and die in peace. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel skipped down the sidewalk on her way home from work when she noticed a cat struggling to get into an alley way. She hurried to it, her blonde hair falling into her face as she knelt down by it. "Poor kitty. How about I take you home and patch you up?" She lifted the black cat up, careful not to hold it wrong.
The young girl kept walking, finding her apartment building quickly. She slid inside, rapidly going up to her apartment. Unlocking the door with one hand, she opened it. It was bare-bones, the door opening to a simple living room with a Goodwill found couch and a cheap bookshelf that had barely any books. The walls were a pale color, and the flooring was hardwood, although it was rather stained. For now, she sat the cat on her sofa, hurrying into the bathroom to see what supplies she had that might help fix the cat up. Poor little thing.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn snarled at the girl as she jarred his leg when picking him up. He struggled feebly against her grip but he couldn't break it, weak as he was. He wasn't quite in his right mind, pain blurring his thoughts. As soon as he was free from her, he began searching for a place to hide and lick his wounds. He slid off the couch in an undignified pile, yelping. He dragged himself underneath the couch, the small dark space making him feel safer. His amber eyes flickered around warily. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel frowned when she realized she didn't have the supplies, or the know how, to care for him quite yet. She went back into the living room, only to find that the cat had slid off the couch. "Kitty, kitty. I only want to help you. Come on out, so we can get you to the vet." Her voice was quiet, gentle as she reached her arms under the couch. Here, kitty kitty.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... All Raevyn could see was two large objects moving towards him. He acted on instinct, laying his ears back and lashing out one paw, claws unsheathed. His head was low to the ground though. If Ashriel could get past his claws, it would be easy to grab the scruff of his neck and simply pull the cat out. He hissed warningly at the girl. No animal liked to be disturbed when it was hurt. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel managed to avoid the claw, grabbing the scruff of the cat's neck to pull him out. "Now, now. We need to get you to the vet." She was even more careful now about how she carried him, holding him in her arms as she walked out of her apartment and down the street to the vet office. Once inside, she went up to the 'emergency care' counter, smiling at the receptionist. "He already had his shots." She lied nicely, noticing that the cat didn't seem to act like a stray. "But he really needs to be fixed up." She put the cat on the counter, as the receptionist called for the vet.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hissed and resisted being dragged out but it was futile. He settled down slightly, only hissing or snarling whenever his broken leg was jarred. When Ashriel put him down on the counter, he stood, balancing easily on three legs. The tip of his tail twitched in irritation and his ears were still flat against his head. The receptionist picked him up and took him to the back, telling Ashriel it would be while.
When she returned with the cat, he was lying calmly in her arms, still half sedated. His back leg was bandaged and splinted. "It's an awkward spot on the leg, so we could only splint it, not cast it. Bring him back in about a week and we'll check on those stitches. Don't let him lick or chew at it." The nurse explained, laying Raevyn on the counter. He simply lay there, eyes half open, watching everything. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Okay, thanks. How much?" Ashriel said softly, waiting for the nurse to name her price. Hopefully it wouldn't go over a hundred dollars- that would make everything more difficult.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... The nurse tapped at the keyboard of her computer for a moment. Raevyn merely curled up on the counter as best he could, trying to ignore the splint on his leg. "The total comes to $65." She said with a smile. "The break was so obvious that the doctor didn't need to do x-rays. And we couldn't cast it. So those kept it at a decent price." She told Ashriel with a chuckle. "How would you like to pay for that?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"Debit card." Ashriel handed the woman the card, giving her pin quickly. As soon as she got her card back, she glanced at the cat, smiling. She picked up the cat, walking back to her apartment with it. Once inside again, she set him back on the couch. "You might want to stay there." Her voice was soft. Thank god it was under a hundred.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... The nurse nodded and rang it through quickly. Raevyn just relaxed against Ashriel as she carried him, much calmer than before thanks to the sedative only just wearing off. And with the paid meds, he wasn't being driven insane by pain. Set down on the couch, he lifted his head to meet the girl's eyes - Something real cats rarely did. There was something in his amber gaze that seemed intelligent. He snorted at her words but stretched and made himself comfortable, taking up an entire section of the couch. The tiger that should be....isn't....
