Liger and Waltz, the Lucemon look up towards the challenger's corner as a newcomer and his patamon entered the fray of battle.

"Hmm, looks like we've got ourselves some fresh meat."
"That it does, but let's give them a fair shot, okay?"
"Fine..." the angelic boy sighed with a little annoyance coating his reply.

Hikaru winced a little as patamon got hit with the attack. "Go Patamon Attack" He said with excitement.

"What ever you say, Hikaru" Patamon said as he flew forward attempting to headbut Lucemon.

Hikaru reached into his card case and pulled one out. He Shouted "Digimodify: Dark Devilishness Activate!!!" as he slid the card through his digivice.

Lucemon was taken aback as the little patamon rammed him in the stomach with a force that he had not expected. "Wow, that was quite the hit!"

"Told ya... you have to be a little more careful!"

Lucemon unleashed a storm of feathers on the patamon, a weak attack to cover his escape to the air.

Patamon easily evaded the distraction. "He's out of range Patamon. Use this chance to guard" Hikaru said selecting the next card he was gonna use. "DIGI-MODIFY CHAINS OF HELL ACTIVATE" Hikaru continued as patamon defended himself.

"I know that, you don't have to tell me." While hovering in the air, Lucemon chants under his breath as he prepares to attack the digimon below them.

Hikaru knew patamon couldn't attack for one more turn. He told his patamon, "OK get ready Patamon were fixin to try and end this." Hikaru said to his partner.

Patamon retreated back a little never turning his back on Lucemon. "Rodger that bossman" Patamon said. Immediately afterwards his chest started expanding in anticapation of the next attack.

Lucemon looked down at the digimon below and laughed, "Shall we give them the pain, or make them suffer a bit?"

The tamer, Liger, shrugs, "Whatever, let's just do this!" Liger moves swiftly to his card pocket and pulls what would be the ultimate ending move. He looks at it and then thinks. "We'll hold back... for now." Instead he hits a function on his digivice that causes Lucemon to gold with the return of some health.

Hikaru saw Liger heal his lucemon. The rookie hollered "Now pattamon let's go BOOM BUBBLE" Patamon aimed the shot and opened his mouth forcing a bubble almost to big for his body out at high speed.

Lucemon is hit by the bubbles and shakes off the shock of the attack. "Oh you better hope that you didn't mess up my hair!" With anger building up within him, he glares at his tamer. "Now then... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!"

Liger crosses his arms and sighs"Obviously, what they just did." He then draws his fine card and slashes it across the top of his custom digivice. "The Weapon shop is now... OPEN!!"

Digimodify: Weapon Shop, EQUIP!


"Hehehe... time to die baby bird." With the effects of the card, blades start to hover around the boy. He grabs one and flings it at the digimon like a throwing knife.
