What goes through your head when you hear the word vampire? Do you think of charming gentlemen with capes of red and ebony hues? Do you imagine a dangerously suave lover? Or perhaps even an angsty, sparkle-wridden youth?
If you answered 'yes' to any of the above, I am afraid you are sorely mistaken. The vampire in this tale is far from suave and charming. He is certainly no youth, and definately does not sparkle. He could not even seduce a blow up doll without his power of hypnosis!

If he is this repulsive in appearance and charm, surely his personality must more than make up for it, correct? Again, you are sorely mistaken. He is possessive, slobbish, childish, and to put it lightly, utterly selfish. How then, is he the romantic lead for this tale of love that transcends beyond time itself? That answer is far more simple; this is no love story, and no woman would willingly marry him.

Que the poor vixens of this tale, beautiful women stolen from their ordinary homes and lives to become the eternal brides of this wretched monster. As one can imagine, being forced to marry the vampire - and all that marriage implies - can easilly ammount to a fate worse than death itself. None of the women, not even the most cowardly or self-loathing, are willing to just sit around and let it happen.

In order to escape *alive*, the women must use their collective wits, charm, and various talents as they work together to escape this nightmare. Will their efforts be in vain? Will they escape with their lives - and humanity - in tact? Only time will tell, it seems...

1. I've said it once and I'll say it again; romance is not the main focus of this RP. It is horror. If you are going to introduce mutual romance into this story, do so carefully. Especially if one of the participants is THE VAMPIRE - who is OUR VILLAIN.

2. Please try to avoid godmodding unless I have given you explicit permission to do so for a given situation. If you don't, depending on the severity, it can lead to you being permanently banned from the roleplay.

3. No cybering in the RP thread. Take it to the PMs or just timeskip if things absolutely must get sexual between characters.

4. I have certain expectations and requirements for certain roles. Make sure to read and adhere to those that apply to your character(s)! I'm not allowing completely random or unrelated characters, so this applies to everyone.

5. I do not expect 100% perfect spelling and grammar. I do not expect a novel per post. All I ask is that you avoid one liners, write in third person, and write legibly.

6. For profiles, either a detailed description or a picture will do for the appearance. You are not allowed to describe your character's looks as cute, pretty, beautiful, stunning, amazing, or anything along those lines in your profile unless you are obviously stating it as your character's personal oppinion. You might think that they're drop dead gorgeous, but that doesn't mean anyone else agrees. (Plus, its an obvious Sue trait and Mary Sues are annoying as bloody hell.)

7. PM all profiles to Animeprincesws_9400(me) with the title "Looks Like Orlok!" Please try to be original with your characters.

8. Don't bold everything in the profile, don't mess with the alignment or size of the coding, and don't leave anything not marked as 'optional' blank.

The Orlok Vampire
The main villain of this RP. Despite the introduction post, he does not have to display all the qualities I've listed. In fact, he can be whatever you desire so long as it does not interfere with the basic plot, he is still ugly as sin, and that he is played in a generally unsympathetic light. After all, he's kidnapped these women and is going to force them all to be his eternal brides. No, that's not romantic. It's creepy.

I understand that finding a pic for this character might be difficult, so here are some ugly mother ******** you can try if you absolutely cannot find anything more suitable. Also, if you happen to find any female equivalent pictures or can write a suitable description, you may feel more than free to make the VAMPIRE/ORLOK female.

The Servants
Every great vampire has servants of some sort! Whether they be begrudging or fawning, mortal or beast, every servant as a rhyme and reason for doing what they do. All, whether they like it or not, have contributed to the kidnapping or imprisonment of the women in some way or another. How they feel about it is your choice, but it doesn't change anything. They're still helping the VAMPIRE keep the women, so they are villains too. (But to a lesser extent) Do note that NONE OF THEM are as powerful as the VAMPIRE.


The Women
These damsels in distress aren't going to sit by and wait to be rescued. Chances are, nobody's coming for them. They are not strong. They are not amazing. These are all ordinary *I use that term lightly* women who must work together and utilize their every talent to escape alive and unscathed. The optimal ending for each individual woman is her escape with her humanity and health in-tact. Anything less would be a less than optimal ending, with the worst being that they die or end up turned and married to the VAMPIRE. (As vampires can control/dominate those they sire, they would not have much a choice in the matter)

Edward is also good with other sort of manual labor (those bodies ain't light, love.) and has more than once been ordered to move lrger items around for the Master.

Bio: Created to help only the Vampire Lord himself, Nicholas is the pet caretaker servant. Any pet that his Lord acquires, Nicholas makes it his duty to take care of them all, no matter what sort of animal it is. He never asked to do the job, nor did he ever complain though. He entire existence is to be the per caretaker for his Lord and Master. He's childish yes, but also rather wicked as well. He does have a soft spot for animals though, big or small.

It is hard for her to believe in any 'mythical' or 'supernatural' occurances. Ali also has a habit of trying to out-buy her friends, because her family is not un-well in market terms.
