There have always been demons in our world, whether we admit it or not, they are there. Usually small teams of humans trained to eliminate them were enough, but in the last four years, more and more have flooded in past the control of just humans alone in Tokyo. So Oni Inc changed how we took care of the demon Epidemic. Specially trained operatives from the human population have been bound with a demon partner using an ancient spell. The demons that work for Oni Inc came there on their own free will, either having something against their own race or just wishing to live peacefully among the humans, of course to do that they have to hunt down their dangerous brothers. Bringing technology and mythology together, partnerships between demons and humans have been formed to track down and either arrest or kill hostile demons, depending on the situation and their crime. And in turn, the human receives from protection and the demon is granted to live among humans peacefully, so long as they do the work.

If a human in a bond is killed, the demon will die as well, giving the demon incentive to listen to and protect their human partner, as not all demons that are bound tend to listen. With the epidemic of hostile demons rising, the Bound of Oni Inc have their work cut out for them, and it's not getting any easier now that whispers of the Demon king being behind it all have risen.

Name: Amaya Kurokawa

Gender: Female
Personality: Very serious about her job, but she is friendly as well. Mainly she tries to act professional, but seeing as how she was the test subject for all of this and her parents run Oni Inc, her mother making the bonds and her father being in charge of the agents, she does tend to bend the rules sometimes. Usually she is pretty calculating, but if you get her angry enough she'll act before thinking, though it seems to have worked for her so far.
Weapons: Two standard issue pistols and a katana
Appearance: Amaya
Bio: Amaya's mother is a powerful priestess, and her father is heavily involved in law enforcement, so it was kind of fate this would be Amaya's career. All of this started when Amaya was sixteen. Her dad was being pressured to find a way to bring the demon outbreak under control, seeing as how his task force was originally the one responsible for controlling the demons. Then one day, Amaya's mother, seeing her husband's distress, decided to try something. Her father had brought home a demon for questioning, seeing as how his wife was a priestess, it could be properly subdued, but he had left it alone to respond to a call about another local demon. Amaya's mother took her daughter to where the demon was being held and conducted sort of an experiment...with several powerful mantras and spells, she bound Amaya and the demon together, on the premise that if Amaya were killed, the demon would die as well, so it complied and did as told. It was no longer subdued, but did not lash out. Neither of them were too sure about this, but then when Amaya's father returned, her mother explained what she had done. At first her father just seemed shocked, but after a few tests of speed and strength, and especially testing the bond, within reason of not killing his daughter, Amaya's father seemed amazed and the next day he brought the two before the government officials who had been pressuring him.

They were amazed as well and gave his task force permission to start binding demons with human agents. Seeing as how Amaya was the poster child for this campaign, everything was tested with her and her demon first, but the first fight was when it seemed to seal the deal for everyone. Amaya never resented that her mom just kind of bound her to a demon without even talking to her about it first, it made her life more exciting, and she has a job not many others can say they have. She gets along with her demon fairly well, having known it for four years now and still enjoys bringing demons down.

Bio: Azathoth has lived for a long time evading nearly all demon hunters. Escaping even the most devious of plan. Until half way into his life he is forced into watching his past play over and over as if a film was playing on in his head. This was due to the fact that he was captured by a band of rouge demons terrorizing the land. Forced to attack his own kind and escaping the delusion Azathoth has lived in hiding watching all humans walk by as time went by. 4 years ago he was approached by a man looking for information on a resent ordeal. After being left alone by this man, a woman offered him something. He declined the offering and told the woman he would do it anyway. After several experiments something felt different. Like Amaya his power and speed also increased. As the year pass by Azathoth has grown toward his master and vicious towards his own kind. Attacking as if it's his life calling. He wears a mask hiding his scars that he has received by the battles.
