As the tamers got past the first phase and entered the castle they reached a room where the same red haired tamer who they had met at the front gate would be standing there whistling with a Sangloupmon who was just finishing off a NeoDevimon. He then turned and looked at the group of tamers and said, "I heard a few alarms go off. Guess it was impossible to avoid each and every alarm and I'm certain none of you had a digimon that could just 'hypnotise' the enemy digimon to thinking it was just a mistake. Hmm it seems some of your allied tamers have been captured. Well whatever, the castle defenses and troops have all been pretty much mobilized already so in other words they all know that we've begun an infiltration attempt. It'd be best if you all be on your guard. I'll go on ahead and scout the area. Good luck and hopefully HolyAngemon was right in his decision that all of you would be able to take out the leader of R.I.P.". He then hopped onto the back of Sangloupmon who then began to go off on his way while the red haired tamer ate a Yakisoba Bread on its back. By complete coincidence as soon as the red haired tamer was out of their sight a strange mechanism was heard and the group of tamers were surrounded by a strange light which would blind them no matter what sort of eye protection they had been wearing. When the light vanished they would end up in a strange area surrounded by a large group of DemiDevimon, Devimon, Myotismon, NeoDevimon, Phelesmon and Boogeymon. These digimon were a lot stronger and smarter than the ones that had been encountered during the first phase. With them were the assassin Phantomon who was trained to be able to turn invisible through unknown means and the guard dog Cerberumon who's strength rivaled that of a mega digimon from experimentation done to it by the leader of R.I.P. They were all ready to attack the group of tamers that were here.

D watched as the red headed Tamer mounted on his Digimon, ate his food and took off. The light, it burned... literally. He felt the warmth that was emitted, as always light and heat are generated simultaneously. It didn't bother him too much overall, but when the lights went back he could see that the other Tamers, all but the one who addressed them, were in a new area, with bloodthirsty Digimon. "Oh joy," he commented, analyzing each and every visible Digimon. "A challenge," he said with a spark in his eyes, as his Digimon appeared by his side. D charged towards a nearby DemiDevimon that strayed a bit too far from the group of opponents and a bit too close to him, landing a punch square in the little evil Digimon's face. The DemiDevimon was stunned, pondering what on earth the human just do. Did continued again with delivering a blow to another nearby DemiDevimon's head.

While the two DemiDevimon were still dazed, Guilmon shot out two powerful "Pyro Sphere!" attacks at each DemiDevimon. Following that, it immediately tore into the Digimon with "Sharp Claws!" defeating the two Rookie Digimon abruptly. Guilmon laid it's sights on a Devimon, the same kind Digimon he had disposed of outside of the castle. It's mouth glowed as it's nostrils literally let out flares of fire, as it started to charge at the Digimon who had gone to help it's comrades.

The Devimon was able start it's Dark Claw attack against Guilmon, but the vile Digimon didn't have enough time to get close enough. With a powerful shout, "Pyro Sphere!" was launched once more, negating the attack and burning the Devimon's hand. "Rock Crusher!" exclaimed the Rookie Digimon, as it once again went to tear the Digimon apart, yet a Myotismon and NeoDevimon gathered around the Rookie Digimon about to pummel their Champion level brethren. With repeated Rock Crusher attacks, the Devimon was depleted to data, just like the two DemiDevimon.

After defeating the eighth opponent guarding this dark and brooding place, it raised it's head, noticing the two Ultimate level Digimon on either side of it. The Myotismon laid it's Dark Claw right into Guilmon's neck, as NeoDevimon joined with it's Guilty Claw, inflicting a lot of pain onto D's Digimon, as it flinched as it was hit.

D's eyes narrowed into the scene of where his Digimon was being attacked, as he had retreated back with the other Tamers. "They're really pulling out all the stops, just for us," D said, analyzing the situation ever so calmly. Raising his hand, in unison to Guilmon raising it's head, he made a fist, then released his hand. At that very moment, a fiery explosion erupted from his Digimon. "Let the games begin!" he said with an intensified feel for the battle that commenced.

"Guil Shot!" echoed Guilmon from between the two Ultimate Digimon, hitting them back. "Guilmon! Digivolve to... Growlmon!" D's Digimon announced. It didn't normally announce it's Digivolution, but it wanted to, just as they planned. It eyed it's opponents, readying for a more equal footing. Growlmon's demeanor remained the same, while still confident with the battle it had in it's hands. "Pyro Blaster!" it announced, shooting an awesome stream of fire at its opponents. The opponents readied to attack, as Growlmon used "Plasma Blades!" to defend itself from the upcoming attacks.

D looked to his right, where John stood beside him. The two weren't properly acquainted yet, but it's better late than never, right? "Hi there, planning on joining in a bit?" D asked politely with a smile to his ally. It would make things go a lot more easier if they did work together, especially since it seemed their opponents had a hive like mentality.

Nodding to everyone, James complains slightly. "Well, this is going to suck." Looking over to his partner, he gives a bloodthirsty grin. "Well buddy, I think it's time to give it everything we got." Guilmon nodded before being wrapped in crimson digicode. "Guilmon Warp Digivolves to... Gallantmon!" As the digicode breaks away and Gallantmon is revealed, Gallantmon instantly goes into an offensive stance as he puts his shield in front of himself. "Shield of the Just" And with those words, a beam of light is shot out of the shield, aiming for the DemiDevimon. The beam quickly overtook them as they were only Rookies. Feeling good at ridding of the virus digimon, Gallantmon prepared to charge forward at the rest, but was stopped by his partner. "Don't go yet, let the others digivolve as well. I mean, you don't want to ruin the others' fun as well, right?" Gallantmon nodded as he waited for the rest, not once taking his eyes off the other enemies. After all, he wasn't cruel to his allies. Though, he hoped that they didn't take too long as to provoke attacks from the other enemies or, heaven forbid, attack him instead of their mutual enemies. But, he did think that his allies would make perfect sparring partners.

The young Tamers eyes had widened when he seen the red haired tamer again, and he let out a long sigh when he was finally able to relax. And before he ran off Ethan was tempted to ask him for a small piece of that bread. Guile had been in front of the brown haired tamer always trying to stay in the lead in front of him. And thats when the bright light flashed before them all. And he covered his eyes and opened them back up his head aching from the sudden bright light, Guile nudged him with his tail growling out," Stay in focus!" And thats when Ethan noticed why Guile had hit him like that, they were surrounded by a large group of Digimon..." Guys how about we..." And thats when one of them starting to fight already, Ethan said," or we can go ahead and start attacking. That works too."

Guile was already ahead of him, seeing the other Guilmon fighting gave it a bit more pride in its species, like it didnt have enough of that already. Guilmon charged forward and opened its mouth aiming to help against the many Devimon who flew towards the Guilmon, Ethan held up a hand and thought to his Digimon, the two being connected as such from BioMerging so many times," Guile fire at the ground!" Guile snarled at the order but did, he fired a Pyrosphere into the ground and went up into the air, and Ethan spun his metal rod and thought to him," Now! Pyro Breaker!" Guilmons claws burst into flames like when he used Flame Strike and he slammed his arms onto the Virus type Devimons head knocking it down into the ground from the momentum Guile gained from falling and the sheer force of Guiles brute strength And it hit the ground and Guile looked up another Devimon 'Death Claw!" Its long claws glowed black as they were swung at Guile who jumped back and opened his mouth quickly," Pyro Sphere!" He shot out a blast of fire colliding with the Devimon and knocking it back, Guile was boosted backwards from this and Ethans glowing eyes meant they were still communicating, Guile nodded and dashed forward and tackled the Devimon back into another group of them and Ethan said," Now! Growlmon!" Guilmon glowed and quickly Digivolved to Growlmon,

Growlmon growled and opened his mouth,"Pyro Blaster!" It sent a large blast out of its mouth that enveloped two of them, and caused smoke to fill that part of the area, Growl lunged forward its two blades on tis arms glowed and it used Plasma Blade! Using the smoke as cover it caught a few of them off Guard. And It jumped out of the smoke and moved back towards Ethan who spoke," Good Job." But thats when one of the Ultimate Digimon decided to target them," Bloody Stream!" A whip of blood was swung forward and it wrapped around Growlmons neck and was jerked into the air and into a nearby wall. Ethans eyes widened as the whip vanished and he ran to his fallen Champion Digimon who began to stand as Myotismon who had attacked dashed forward to them." Foolish humans and their digimon pets! " Ethan had a sudden dark expression as Growlmon stood up and he said," Growlmon.. Pyro Burst." Growlmon growled and opened his mouth and his claws glowed and they waited until the Cocky Myotismon was in front of them and growlmon made a X cut through the Myotismon before firing a strong blast of flame into it, and it knocked the Myotismon back, making it dedigivolve into DemiDevimon and it wobbled weakly, Ethan swung his rod into the side of it knocking it away from them. The two didnt fight any others other than Ethan pointing in between a few of them and having Growlmon firing a Pyro Blaster into them, causing them to spread about. The NeoDevimon and Boogeymon jumped to the side to avoid the blast having being grouped uptogether all of them getting good distance from each other now as the blast hit a few other remaining Rookies destroying them easily." Your turn guys!" He spoke to the others giving a Kind smile.

As Gallantmon was ripping Devimons, NeoDevimons and Boogeymons apart one at a time with cries of "Lightning Joust", James cheered his partner on. James also cheered their allies on as well, seeing how they did just as well. Though truthfully, he was a little disappointed that they weren't really trying to take things seriously. "You know, this is no fun if you don't actually try. I mean, if we just underestimate them, then we are giving them a whole bunch of openings. After all, they do have a whole bunch of Ultimates around here." As James went on his rant, Gallantmon was surrounded by the Champion level, Virus type digimon that survived the onslaught. But before they could fire off their attacks, Gallantmon charged at a Devimon with a cry of "Lightning Charge". He easily tore through the surprised Champion. Gallantmon quickly turned to his right, toward a Boogeymon and two NeoDevimons. Gallantmon cried "Lightning Joust" as he pierced all three and jumping away from the other Champions before they could attack him. While his partner was dealing with the Champions, James turned toward Ethan. "Hey man, why don't we work together, I mean we both originally had Guilmons right? So why not use that common beginning as a base toward good teamwork, right?"

Ethan looked to the other Guilmon tamer and gave a kind smile," I thought we already were working together? Theres three Guilmon tamers all in the same spot." He chuckled a tiny bit forgetting about the task at hand and jumped to James side saying,"Well I can't let your Gallantmon have all the fun." Growlmon had taken down a NeoDevimon and Ethan looked to Growlmon while smiling softly and said quickly," Growlmon! " Growlmon turned and looked to him with a evil grin, and its eyes glowed darkly, as it began to glow. Ethan spun his steel rod as his Digivice glowed around his neck.

Growlmon Dark Digivolve to "BlackWargrowlmon!" Growlmon digivolved into a darker form of Wargrowlmon, its armor black and skin had changed colors as well. It growled with rage and blood lust, and it turned looking to Ethan,"Can I cut loose?" Ethan nodded to his Ultimate Level Digimon and it grinned wickedly and turned and soon a scythe was being swung at it," Scythe of Shadows!" It glowed with a dark energy,Phantomon had targeted the BlackWarGrowlmon and it growled and swung its now glowing red blades into it, the two weapons collided and both were knocked back, BlackWargrowlmon snarled and it said," I do not fear you Reaper!"It opened its chest and began to charge a attack,"Atomicccccc." Dark Red Energy began to flow around the two cannons on its chest and Phantomon began to spin the ball and chain on the bottom of its sickle and it howled out as it flung it forward," Star of Diablo!" The orb on the bottom burst into a dark blast and was flying towards Blackwargrowl who roared out," Blaster!" And the two red blasts were fired. And the two attacks collided in the air, Phantomon holding his chain tightly and BlackWargrowl standing his ground. "Hey! One of you other tamers wanna strike!" he looked to the others. (Preferably not Jak, since he posted right before me. I just got impatient and where my internet is acting up today I wanted to be safe about it.)

As Gallantmon was dealing with the Champions, they started to back off slightly. Perplexed, Gallantmon heard growling behind him. When he turned towards the growling, he saw the Cerberumon. Suddenly, Cerberumon was barking loudly before charging at Gallantmon. Thinking quickly, though, Gallantmon cried "Shield Attack" before slamming his large shield across the dog digimon's head, making it stumble slightly as it ran past Gallantmon slightly. They both turned to each other and stared slightly before they both charged as Gallantmon screamed "Lightning Charge". Before Gallantmon's attack could land, Cerberumon jumped right and was about to bite for Gallantmon's neck. Gallantmon though, wouldn't allow it as he cried "Shield Attack" and slamming his shield into the dog's head once again. Cerberumon staggered back slightly while shaking it's head. Taking a chance to do major damage, Gallantmon shouted "Lightning Joust" and jabbed his lightning covered lance into the side of Cerberumon. The dog digimon let out a whine of pain as it landed on the ground and weakly tried to stand. Before Gallantmon could continue his attacks, his had to guard against several attacks from the Myotismons. Believing he could advert his attention for now, he cried "Lightning Charge" before rushing toward the Myotismons with his shield and lightning covered lance raised and ready to destroy evil. Due to this unexpected change in attack, the several Myotismons were caught off guard and failed to guard, causing their digital deaths.

I'm walking the road to dawn

Marco entered the room staring at the ground with a look of shame of his face. Veemon was no longer on his back, but instead he was walking beside him carrying a similar expression on his face. They both looked defeated even though there was not a single trace of a piece of clothing being torn or some kind of bleeding happening. In fact the only thing that was odd about them was the fact that it was just the two of them when the group originally consisted of four. They lost two comrades, saying 'lost' did not mean they died, but rather they were captured by R.I.P right in front of them. One of the detectors was set off and a group of the virus-type digimon came. Veemon didn't have the energy to fight them especially after that encounter with the Phelesmon, he still needed to regain his strength. Marco wasn't sure what happened next, but the enemy had used a sneak attack on them which separated Marco from Nikky and her turtle digimon. Apparently these digimon saw the last battle and used the same method to trap Marco and Veemon. In his desperation, Marco activated his Digisoul, which provided him with an increase in strength, to punch through the wall of fallen rocks from the ceiling; unfortunately, he was too late. All he could see was Nikky and Kamemon being taken away.

Marco's hands clenched into fists remembering his failure to protect his comrade. He looked up from the ground and noticed that only half of the group made to this room. What happened to all those tamers? His question was answered sooner than he expected as that same red-haired boy appeared before them. His aloof attitude and lack of motivation really bothered Marco especially at that moment. He simple brushed off the tamer's capture like it was nothing to him. He gave them a few words about their next phase and then left them again riding on a wolf-like digimon. Marco was about to call him after him, maybe he knew where the captured tamers and digimon were being held! He wasn't given the time or the choice to proceed because just as he went to chase after him, a bright light suddenly erupted from under their feet. Marco stepped back taken completely off-guard by that bright light which burned his face. Everyone was white before becoming dark and then disappearing into nothing.

When Marco opened his eyes again, they were no longer in that room or the castle for that matter. Everyone was moved somewhere else or what appeared to be outside; they were not alone either. Once his vision fully returned to him, Marco noticed that their group was being surrounded by several virus species digimon. There was not trace of that red-haired teenager, he missed his chance to ask him about the captured tamers... Marco curled his hands into fists, he felt angry.

He could hardly hear the other tamer's words. He didn't pay attention to anything around him even as the tamers began to battle the virus digimon. His mind was solely focused on his rage that was building up inside of him. He wanted to release it and cut loose; this would be the perfect time for that. If he didn't try hiding or running away like before then maybe Nikky wouldn't have been captured. He would not make the same mistake twice, this time he would fight and defeat his opponents no matter how many of them were present. His new determination showed as his hands and arms began to glow with the power of his Digisoul, but there was something different about this Digisoul. Normally the color was blue, but this Digisoul was colored orange and it wasn't just the color, but there was also a strange sign that appeared on Marco's right hand. The light and data surrounding Marco's hands and arms were making the sign completely invisible to everyone around him meaning that unless they grabbed his hand and inspected it then they would not see the sign. "Veemon...we can't hold back, we need to fight with all our strength," Marco spoke through gritted teeth, he felt his hands and arms on fire from the Digisoul, from the power that was surging through him.

Veemon looked up at his partner briefly and then faced forward, nodding. He was feeling sad and angry too, they lost a comrade and all that time he was only sleeping. He felt great shame and disappointment, he knew that his partner felt the same. They would rescue the captured tamers once they found and defeated this leader of R.I.P whoever he was. Veemon raised his hands up as if he were a boxer and got ready to fight. Marco followed suit, preparing to enter the battlefield himself. Many of the tamers around them were already out and fighting. Most were in their higher level forms including mega and ultimate. Marco and Veemon knew better than to jump into a fight using their full power; these new group of digimon did look stronger, among them were some terrifying digimon including Cerberumon and Phantomon, but they were still small fry compared to the boss.

"Veemon stay close and cover me, I'll do the same to you, we win this battle with teamwork!" Marco ordered raising his voice now that the battle had commence. The sounds of blasts and digimon exploding was all the background music they needed so he would need to raise his voice -or even shout- if he wanted Veemon to hear him. "Let's go!" Marco shouted and then charged forward with Veemon following right behind him. Their first opponent were the weaker level DemiDevimon who were flying right at them. Marco punched the first DemiDevimon in front of him, normal his attack wouldn't even do that much to this creature, but due to his enhanced strength caused by the Digisoul, DemiDevimon was send flying. Another of the bats tried to attack him, but Veemon quickly stopped him with his own punch as he shouted, "Vee-Punch!" Marco and Veemon continued to charge through the flood of DemiDevimon that tries to crash against them. Every time their fist connected with a DemiDevimon's skull there was a cracking sound.

Marco looked up and noticed a Devimon flying towards them. "Veemon!" Marco suddenly halted as Veemon jumped up reaching for Marco's hands. Once they grabbed each other, Marco started spinning around then used the momentum to throw Veemon up into the air towards the Devimon. "Vee-Headbutt!" Veemon's head cut through the air, his attack power increased with Marco's aid. Veemon pierced the Devimon, going right through his chest. As he was falling, Veemon took aim at his next targets another ground of DemiDevimon, "Vee-Punch!" His fist slammed on the ground causing the area around him to rise in an earthquake, the DemiDevimon were pushed back and Marco came to Veemon's side. They briefly exchanged looks, but then looked ahead a group of Devimon flying towards with their hands pulled back.

"DEATH HAND!"

They all shouted simultaneously as then punched forward releasing an unholy energy from their fists. The blast came right at Marco and Veemon whose eyes were temporarily wide. A large explosion was heard which caused smoke and dirt to rise from the ground. The group of Devimon looked pleased almost patting in each other in the back because they did such a good job.

"Veemon digivolve to...Veedramon!"

A voice shouted and from the smoke emerged a large terrifying blue dragon with sharp horns. The dragon roared and charged at the Devimon knocking them down like bowling pins. The blue terror did not stop his rampage, his fists glowed with energy. "Magnum Punch!" he punched each Devimon right in the face and in their jaws, successfully smashing their teeth. He would swing his tail around making sure the Devimon were not given a chance to strike back. The Devimon were becoming overwhelmed by this beast's rampage. No one noticed, but right on the dragon's back there was a teenager riding there. Perhaps that was why the dragon was so defensive. Boogeymon and other Devimon noticed the struggle and so they charged at the dragon hoping to defeat him with sheer numbers. They all dog-piled on the beast trying to hold him down.

"Veedramon digivolve to...AeroVeedramon!"

A mighty roared echoed through the battlefield surely startling anyone who was nearby. The virus digimon dog-piled was flung upwards by an unknown force as each champion was knocked back send flying. From the depth within, a new creature soared to the sky; a dragon that grew wings. AeroVeedramon looked down at the digimon he knocked down, in the skies he was unrivaled and his enemies looked just like ants. Marco was riding on his back, he looked a little shaken up with a bruise here and there, but overall he was fine; the digimon belong would not be in the same situation unfortunately. "V-Breath Arrow!" AeroVeedramon shot a V-shape heat beam right below him. The attack burned the Devimon and Boogeymon below to a crisp. The burn was so intense that they were turned to ash right before their data disappeared after being destroyed. Marco looked down at the fire that was still eating away at the enemies skin, his Digisoul was still burning orange and the sign did not disappeared.

"We can't stop here, these digimon are no sweat, but the Myotismon and Phelesmon will prove to be a challenge," as if on cue those exact digimon species appeared moving their way towards them. "There is also another..." he looked down at the battlefield where the Cerberumon was stationed, he didn't see Phantomon and that worried him. "Let's go AeroVeedramon!" the blue dragon roared and charged at his new opponents.

John yelled out as he himself lept forward and punched out a DemiDevimon, "You just worry about yourself D, lets just keep the pressure on, I've got the one's over here." As he called out a Devimon launched an attack towards him and with a somersault John dodged it easily. It wasn't over yet, the digimon was relentless. He moved fast, his dark claws bearing down on the tamer. John didn't move, he only whispered to himself, "DarkTyranomon." With a crash the floor began to rumble and his digimon partner blasted up from beneath the floor. Only a smirk could be seen on John's face through the rubble as he digimon pasted before him. Devimon couldn't react, only look over to see the hole where DarkTyranomon had burrowed underground, ingenious. The tyrannosaurus rex digimon through its claw right into the abdomen of the Devimon and impaled him. With a roar the digimon yelled. "Get off you trash!" Opening it's mouth fire began to gather into an orb. Devimon had no time to react and could already feel his body temperature rising. It could only cry out for a second before the flames slammed against it's body, jetting off in different directions on impact. The digimon evaporated into data and DarkTyranomon reared its head and absorbed the data, with a small glow.

AeroVeedramon and Marco continued their battle in the skies. They were currently being chased by a group of Phelesmon. They tried to stab them with their pitchforks, but AeroVeedramon managed to dodge them by performing flips and turns in the air. The blades on his arms began to glow, charging power. "Twister Saber!" The blades grew in size, the charging completed. AeroVeedramon soared through the size slicing through the Phelesmon like butter. His blades were extremely sharp now and due to his increased speed in the air, he was like an aerial deity. The commotion he was causing attracted more of the virus digimon as a new group of Myotismon entered the scene. Marco noticed the vampite digimon and tapped AeroVeedramon's head to get his attention. They turned and were immediately met with the blood whips that the Myotismon were using to slash at them. AeroVeedramon grabbed one of the whips and pulled the Myotismon in, he was cut in half by his blades. AeroVeedramon charged at the Myotismon cutting through their whips with his blade and then cutting through them. However, they were eventually caught off-guard. The Myotismon began to crowd them and used their whips to restrain AeroVeedramon's arms, legs, and wings.

"We need to escape these ropes otherwise we won't be able to digivolve." Marco reminded himself. AeroVeedramon would not be able to battle these ultimate digimon in his current form. He would need to reach mega level soon. Marco charged up his Digisoul and used his enhanced strength to try and break the blood whips. He managed to break the rope tied around AeroVeedramon's arm which was the only one that really mattered since once that was done AeroVeedramon could cut through the rest as well. However they were not given that chance because they tackled by something, something which had enough force to knock the wing out of them.

AeroVeedramon and Marco fell from the sky and landed on the ground in a painful 'thud'. Right before they made impact, Marco activated his Digisoul to the max which caused the aura of data to engulf his whole body. If he hadn't used his Digisoul to protect him then he would have surely died. Marco and AeroVeedramon slowly stood up, groaning from the pain. They looked ahead at the monster that tackled them; it was Cerberumon and he was looking menacing. He didn't give them any time to recover as he flung himself at them. AeroVeedramon only have seconds to take his tackle head on by trying to grab him. Cerberumon proved to be much stronger as he forced the blue winged-dragon back. Marco stepped back, this Cerberumon was stronger than the previous ultimate digimon they were facing. "AeroVeedramon don't give up!" Marco shouted and his digimon reacted to his partner's shouts as he stomped his feet on the ground and pushed the Cerberumon back.

"He's strong, Marco! Really strong, I'll need to reach mega to stop him!" AeroVeedramon kept his eyes constantly on Cerberumon watching his every move so that he wouldn't be caught off-guard again. Marco nodded and faced the Cerberumon as well, they must have experimented on that Cerberumon because his strength could easily rival a mega. Marco clenched his hands into fists and activated his Digisoul, this would be a tough battle.

I'm walking the road to dawn

Marco was about to active AeroVeedramon's next digivolution phase, but stopped when he noticed Cerberumon staring at him. In that brief second, the Cerberumon's eyes became sharp and he leaped right towards him. Marco's was stunned, his body unable to move due to Cerberumon's sudden change in speed. Neither his mind or his body could not keep up with that digimon's speed. "Watch out!" AeroVeedramon pushes Marco out of the way just in time to be tackled by Cerberumon. The demon dog crunched down on AeroVeedramon's shoulder armor; his teeth were beginning to cause cracks. AeroVeedramon tried to ram his arm blade into the demon dog's head, but he was stopped by Cerberumon's other head. His partner's screams of pain knocked the senses back to Marco. He charged at the Cerberumon with his Digisoul flaring. The demonic dog sensed danger and quickly jumped back to gain distance.

"This is no ordinary digimon, the moment he noticed that I was helping you he instantly attacked me," Marco glared at the beast, he wasn't only stronger than a regular ultimate, but he was also smart. Cerberumon charged forward again, but Marco was ready this time. He moved out and the way while AeroVeedramon shot a V-shape heat ray hoping to stop Cerberumon. However, he didn't stop and instead he broke through the ray like it was nothing and tackled the winged-dragon down. Marco's eyes widen in shock, no ultimate level digimon had ever brushed off AeroVeedramon's V-Breath Arrow like that. This Cerberumon was dangerous. "Wind Guardian!" AeroVeedramon shouted using his wings as a shield, creating a wind barrier. Cerberumon didn't stop his assault and instead slashed at the barrier. The barrier would not last. How would they be able to stop him if he was preventing them from digivolving? Marco expected this kind of thing to be come a problem, but if he didn't do something soon then they would be taken down right here. He couldn't die here, he still needed to go rescue Nikky and the remainder tamers who were captured.

Marco picked up a rock and then flung it at Cerberumon. He hit his back which did not seem to bother him even a little or stop his assault on the wind barrier. Marco picked up another rock and threw it then threw another and another. Initially Cerberumon paid the rocks no mind, but there were so many of them that one of the rocks landed near his eye. Cerberumon stopped and looked away to glare at the human who dare throw rocks at him. Marco knew this was their chance, "AeroVeedramon, attack now!"

AeroVeedramon opened its mouth and shouted, "Dragon Impulse!" The shockwave created from his roar was a direct hit on Cerberumon who could not dodge this move nor could be hold it because this was a sound-base attack. The shockwave turned into a dragon which carried away the Cerberumon. Marco quickly joined his partner's side, "let's finish this AeroVeedramon! Digivolve!" Marco shouted activating his Digisoul to the max. The data's flared around his body in a blue aura. The previous orange aura created by the sign of Wrath on his right hand was gone, he was not angry anymore he just wanted to live so that he could save his fellow tamers. The emotions were strong and filled AeroVeedramon with the power to digivolve to his final form!

"AeroVeedramon digivolve to...UlforceVeedramon!" The winged-dragon's large form was gone. It was compressed into a more humanoid form which stood 11 feet tall. This new digimon carried armor made of blue digizoid as well as silver "V-Bracelets" on each of his wrists. He wore what appeared to be a blue cape or perhaps it was just his wings. He stood tall and proud, ready to face his opponent. Marco looked up at this Holy Knight, no matter how many times he entered this form he could not stop being amazed. Once Veemon entered this form he knew that the battle was over.

Cerberumon howled and barked, he would not be ignored. He charged at the new digimon not caring about the danger; it might have changed forms, but it would still fall under his might...how wrong he was.

UlforceVeedramon disappeared in an instant which temporarily shocked the demon dog, but not as much as the punch he received on its snout. Cerberumon cried out in pain as he stumbled back unsure about what just happened. The armor digimon was there one second and then he was gone the next and now he was on the ground. UlforceVeedramon stepped forward then disappeared once more causing Cerberumon to panic. He stumbled back feeling another punch, this time to his jaw. He felt more punches to his sides, his back, his stomach, and head. Cerberumon shivered barely able to stand up anymore. Marco looked at the demonic dog almost feeling sorry for it. In that moment he locked eyes with the beast he knew that this battle was not his choice, he was simply a soldier who was being forced to battle. Marco closed his eyes, he prayed that this mission would be over soon.

UlforceVeedramon activated one of his V-Bracelets, the one on his right wrist which controlled his sword; it was time to deliver the final attack. Cerberumon was barely on his feet and even though he knew that he still needed to fight, he stopped. He wanted to be free from this pain. The Holy Knight charged and in one swift move he stabbed the demon dog on his heart, ending his life instantly. Cerberumon howled a goodbye as his body faded away into data which then flew away disappearing to become a Digi-tama. Marco and UlforceVeedramon watched the data fade away, each giving their own small prayer. "This won't be over until we stop the R.I.P's leader...we have to be prepared." The Holy Knight nodded, normally he would de-digivolve, but this battle taught them that they needed to be at their strongest form if they hoped to survive. They might not be given the chance to reach this form again if they revert back. Marco and UlforceVeedramon turned around and faced the remaining virus species digimon. This battle was not over yet.

[Ethan Kirito Soul]

The young Tamer suddenly began to glare when noone went to help the Ultimate level digimon holding off another ultimate level so some one else could strike it down. He watched as BlackWargrowlmon snarled sending more energy into is beam, and Ethan spun the steel rod saying," Oh.I hope this helps out!" He began to dash forward with a focused expression on his face and ran circling around the clashing beams. And he got behind the distracted Phantomon, most of the digimon around them had been taken out by the other tamers and he spun the rod saying," I just need to...throw him of!" He ran forward and jumped slamming the rod onto the Reaper Digimons head making it shake and turn its head towards him somehow it forgot about the battle clashing with them and then Blackwargrowlmons blast burst through Phantomons and collided with the Digimon who howled in pain and began to be thrown back, Ethan jumped doing a roll to get out of the sudden flying back Digimons way. And it flew backwards until crashing into a wall, falling forward. Ethan looked to Black Wargrowlmon who glared at him thinking to him,' You're not that good of a Distraction." 'bite me Guile!" Guile gave a big grin and Ethan sighed, and got ready to hit to the next area alongside the other tamers.

D nodded in response to John. Although their opponents were savage, it seemed like too much fun not to pass up on, for both him and his Digimon. He watched, remaining quite relaxed, just anticipating the next move from the two opposing Ultimate Digimon. Looking around, he could see more and more were surround the Tamers, realizing that maybe taking their time to play with these Digimon was not the best idea, but they really wanted to have some fun before the mass annihilation started.

As Growlmon defended against the repeated attacks of the two Digimon, two more Myotismon joined in the fray. "Four on one? Is this the best you can do?" it asked almost disappointed. "Plasma Blade!" the Champion level Digimon announced once again, as it this time used it to cut sheer waves of energy as an offense rather than a defense, wiping out the NeoDevimon and the first Myotismon. The two Myotismon had utilized this opportunity to fly out of range however, and counter with a double Grisly Wing attack from both sides. Re-utilizing Plasma Blade once more as a defense, Growlmon managed to hang in there. "Pyro Blaster!" it barked, launching a powerful blast aimed at one of them. "Now feel the burn!" it said somewhat jokingly, as it launched a few rounds of Pyro Blaster against the two Myotismon who had come up close to Growlmon, when they where the ones who hoped to get the upper hand. Finishing both of them off abruptly with "Dino Kick!" with a motion more similar to a roundhouse kick rather than the normal move. With it's claws readied, and prey set down in front of the Champion level Digimon, it proclaimed mightily, "Growl Claw!" vanquishing the opponents. Finally, getting a break while the other Digimon and Tamers had joined in. Absorbing the data of all the Digimon that had fallen around it, it invigorated Growlmon even more so, as it's ears perked at the moment it heard BlackWarGrowlmon's blast hit Phantomon, as it's eyes narrowed into the landing area of where the villainous, ring leader perhaps, would be found.

Carefully keeping an eye on the other battles, Growlmon's Tamer was able to maneuver himself to avoid any unwanted Tamer to Digimon confrontation. He too found it intriguing that a Phantomon could actually become invisible, but he still paid most of his attention to his Digimon's battle. D watched his Digimon stand in victory, feeling also quite energized after it managed to take down quite a few Digimon so far. Looking at his Digimon partner, he knew the same thing that it did: They found their next target.
