I'm hesitant to post on my Tumblr. I get fewer likes and responses than before and according to guides, only professional blogs should be or are successful. I'm not a professional, so I have little to offer people, save for the occasional art, some of which goes completely unnoticed. The problem is I use this to vent and I feel like I have to hold it in because no one cares. It's like screaming in an empty room. People outside can hear it, but they aren't going to look and see what's the matter. I may close my personal blog, not that it'd matter. Why should I expect what I don't deserve? I'm sorry. Unsightly vent over.

Honestly if you use it to vent I say keep it open, if only for that reason. I find that sometimes it's best to blow off steam by talking about it, even if just to an empty room. As for anyone that says only professional bloggers should be successful I say shame on them. Every blogger has to start somewhere. You may not be big now, you could be if you really want to. At one point every big name out there started off as just another faceless nobody.

I used to be popular on tumblr, then I switched fandoms and became a nobody. razz
