I think there was a point when I never thought I'd want to leave California, but here I am living in Columbus, Ohio for about 2 months now.
Always fun to explore places outside of one's hometown.

coming from the south we took a back road from the southwest into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinsburg. Beautiful unspoiled Smoky Mountain scenery, quaint towns, museums, artists and artisans, we had a fine old time.
Then those fires came to Gatlinsburgl; what a tragedy

I'm willing to bust my nuts to keep living in Cali. xd
That said, I know a pair of homo friends who got married here in Cali and then got a house in TN and apparently quite like it, so *shrug*.
What keeps me in Michigan is the weather everywhere else. XD I'm not sure how well I'd do with tornados, earthquakes and hurricanes. And oh, lordy, the snowfall on the East Coast...
