What elevation do You guys live at? I’m at about 4200 feet above sea level but my parents house In the far north part of the city I live in they are at like 4500 feet. Literally most Newmexico cities are built alongside mountains. It’s weird my elevation is like 4200 feet but the space museum our town is famous for located far up on the hill is like 4600 feet. So yeah hills. Weird. What elevation do you guys live in?

Some of the elevations I live in it doesn’t bother me. It’s weird. Go to our Cloudcroft village that’s at 8600 feet. It’s really high since the name. Also it’s 20 degrees colder In Cloudcroft. Here it would be high 96 low 68. Cloudcroft would be high 78 low 50. It gets way too much snow in winter.

But it’s weird, I was camping at almost 8000 feet and when it was windy I could hear the wind blowing loudly like we’re on the top too. It’s weird. Like you can tell we’re sky high. It’s weird. No wonder it’s way too windy here cuz our elevation is too high. The wind sounds scary. Like you can tell your like near the clouds it’s weird. Soo high.

Yeah our city is like that to. I live in the bottom of the hill at 4200 feet but my parents house Is more up on the hill at like 4500 feet in same town where you can see the huge mountain in such. It’s weird. High Desert Water
We rarely get ppl with altitude sickness so yeah it’s weird if we get them maybe I should climb mt Everest cuz I’m soo used to elevation. Lived at 4300 feet all my life so I go to 9000 feet and it’s nothin so mt Everest May be a cinch. Cloudcroft is Soo high 20 degrees colder than lowland Alamogordo. In winter Cloudcroft is basically a tundra, it’s soo cold and snows there all the time. Even in summer it gets to as low as like in the late 40s. Well they are at near 9000 feet. Need to go skiing soon. Also need to book a vacation to the cheesy Native American resort “Inn of the mountain gods”. Owned by native Americans where Inn of the Mountain Gods is a cheesy resort and casino that is more or less like Vegas except in the mountains at almost 7000 feet. Seriously it’s like right on the border line in the Mescalero Reservation where it lies directly below and practically at the border line where go further north and your in Ruidoso area. So stay in the resort area your basically staying on a reservation. It’s common, the resort has 5 floors.

Go right at the border and entrance of a reservation and what do you see? Casinos. Cheesy casinos. Once you enter reservation you will see casinos and the biggest is the Inn of the Mountain Gods. Cheesy. Our casinos are all located on Indian reservations. Like right at the invisible border line cuz if they built any further past the line than the invisible line itd be illegal cuz it’s not reservation. It’s cheesy many of our casinos lies right above the NM state line on designated reservations, like set 1 foot past Inn of all mountain gods and your back in New Mexico. It’s weird. I would never allow reservations but they still exist due to our racist history back in 1800s.

I just don’t get why casinos are legal in Vegas.

I live on a mountain. Though its still small in comparison to other neighboring mountains that offer skiing and what not. Where as everything else around us is farmlands, valley, and getting towards former riverbed area as you get closer to the lakes and rivers nearby.

So you said you get to 1500 feet? That’s tiny for New Mexico. You say you live on or near a mountain? Soo tiny. We have huge mountains ever over 5000 feet it’s crazy. Go to any New Mexico town and you will see a mountain nearby. Soo huge and high.

Like Grand Canyon. Love the high winds. You can tell we are at high elevation 4500 feet is high.
