Sandybell had been quietly sitting in her room, listening to music while feeling bored. Her grandmother had left the house to have fun with some of her friends. Sandybell hadn't followed because she felt she would have been the odd one in a group of seniors. Not that the others minded her.
She turned around and saw the mirror she got this morning for some odd reason. Apparently, her grandmother was a descendant from a witch who used to live in some far away country, and that mirror was a family heirloom and could transport people to that country. Her own mother was supposed to inherit it, but had refused.
She picked it up and studied it. It was really pretty looking. She did have a hard time believing that it really worked though. Like, seriously. Witches? Magical mirrors? None of that was real, right?
She never tried it out though. Not because she wasn't sure if she believed it, but because if it did work, she didn't just want to leave her grandmother behind. Though the elder lady had told her if she ever wanted to try it then she shouldn't worry about leaving her, because both of them would be fine.
She scratched her head as she stood up. If it did work, then maybe she should get some things. Just in case. She quickly grabbed her handbag and put some things she might need.
She then went over to a sleeping cat on her bed. "Do you wanna visit another country, Senka?" she asked jokingly. As if agreeing, the cat meowed and jumped up on her shoulder. "I take that as a yes."
After checking so that she had everything, even checking so that all the doors and windows were locked and the stove and all the electronics were turned off, she texted her grandmother and told she was going to try the mirror.
She then went over to the mirror and looked at it. "I'm glad it's only you here now..." If anyone else had been there, she would have died out of embarrassment.
She thought of what her grandmother said to activate it and was about to do it, when Senka meowed while looking down. She looked and saw that she was not wearing her shoes. "Oh. Thanks Senka." She quickly went out into the hall to put them on.
"Okay... now I'm ready." She once again looked at the mirror and said the word her grandmother taught her.
She took a deep breathe. She had to admit it; she was pretty nervous. What would she do if it did work? But she was gonna try it. If it seemed scary, then she would quickly return home.
She said the word and in the next moment, she found herself somewhere completely different. "Oh my God, it worked..." she thought surprised as she checked so that Senka was still with her.
She almost jumped when hearing a voice, seeing a person. Ivalice? If she remember right, that was the name her grandmother called the country. "Hi. I'm Sandybell Engdal."

Sandybell thought of his question about favorite colors. "I guess I like black, white, and midnight blue," she replied.
Meeting the made, she nodded as a greeting. "Hello. It's nice to meet you too. And this is Senka." The cat let out a meow as a greeting.
She was kinda surprised to hear that elves existed. Then again, her grandmother was apparently a witch, so why wouldn't other people exist as well. Which she thought was pretty cool.
She was even more surprised that she was invited to the party, as it didn't connect at first. She did follow to the bathroom though.
"Thanks," she replied when Kelsey complimented her clothes.

Sandybell nodded as she started to do so, while Senka jumped off her shoulder and went to crawl inside her bag.
She thought of the question. "I like playing games, reading, training capoeira, hanging with friends, listen to music, photographing, and skating," she replied.
The last one was both for rollerblades and on ice. As when hanging with her friends, she did a lot more, like playing basketball, watching movies (either at any of their homes or at the cinema), and going to the city's various entertainment places.
