The world around you begins to fracture, the edges of reality flickering like an old television losing signal. Colors bleed into each other, distorting and stuttering as if the very fabric of existence is breaking apart. Then with a sudden snap the distortion clears, revealing a pixelated landscape stretching out before you, brightly colored digital island suspended in an infinite sea of static. The sandy ground beneath your feet glitches momentarily, flickering between reality and code as if you're standing on the edge of a world not meant to be seen.

Where there was no wind there is now, a gentle breeze cooling your skin or blowing your hair. Where there was no scent you now take in the salty sea air. On the small island you find yourself on you see put three buildings on the horizon, one of them an unmistakable Pokemon Center with its signature red roof.

(Choose a single character from any point in your time in Team Snagem and drop them into here! They know not of how they got here and only have the memories from the time period from which they came. I intend for this to move quickly.)

An Electrike hybrid stood about the Pokemon center, staring at the marvel before him. He was young. Very young. No more than perhaps 5 years old. And pehaps haven't seen a good day in ever. His clothes were a lot more primitive looking in design and in nature, made from woven cloths with the occasional leather hide from a Pokemon of some kind, but the dirt and absolute wear it had been through made it difficult to tell what it was from. He was thin; meals were skipped, or rather perhaps deprived of in his case on more than one occasion. As he stood before the Pokemon Center, he couldn't help but to stare confused. Curiosity nagged at him, urging him to explore this marvel; he probably wasn't going to get another opportunity. Fear paralyzed him. He didn't have permission to enter. He didn't have permission to even stand where he was right now. Following orders, permission never granted unless the adults say otherwise and should never be asked for, to work as hard as any adult in hunting, foraging, fighting, that was the world he knew. Because doing anything that strayed off the path laid before him meant a path towards weakness. Weakness meant no survival. At least that was all he was told as far back as he could remember. Never before has he seen this sort of building. He didn't even know what a Pokemon Center was, or even the purpose of it. It stood like a bright monument in spite of its apparent simplicity.

As he looked around, he then started to realize his 'caretakers' were no where around. His 'brothers and sisters', as they were, were not there. Was this a dream? Did he get abandoned? What was this place? He was scared to speak up, no permission for that either. He just stood there, not really sure what to do. He dry-washed his hands, his nervousness coming forth. He wasn't where he was supposed to be. He was goign to be lashed again. He was going to be scolded again. But he doesn't even know how he got here. He needed an order.

Amethyst colored eyes would look around, blinking in confusion. The woman who they belonged to rubbed her face right after the rapid blinking, attempting to get her bearings straight. Did someone spike her drink? Did she just have too much to drink? Whatever happened, it appeared that she was currently alone, or at least was the only one of her friends here. That she could tell, at least. "What?... So help me, if this is some sort of prank by Darts or someone, or that they messed with the training room, I will end them..." Groaning, her hands would run through her dark purple hair, brushing it away from her face momentarily, as her large Espeon ears twitched, trying to detect any sound. Not getting anything initially, she would look through her messenger bag, briefly checking the contents. "Mini Psy, you're not somehow in here still, are you?"

MoniqueBrie
Snap!

Monique blinked.

The bright sun was the first thing she noticed and felt, but it wasn't unbearably hot. There was a breeze... and sand... and an island. Everything was so visibly saturated, and while she'd had to get used to normal reality after being under the Dome for 25 years, this was like someone cranked it up to max.

What was that? She'd been through the end of her reality before, but it didn't quite go like this. Like a feed, lost, a permanent interruption in blackness... And then her channel had been permanently changed.

It was clear that wherever this was wasn't on her map. And that its grip on reality was tenuous. The whole thing glitched and froze, kind of the synthetic windows that Flower City elites had. Even this... this beach seemed like it could disintegrate at any time.

Not only that, her whole body seemed to want to change state, blinking between human and Zoroark forms. And not merely an illusion. No, she could feel these changes. She'd forgotten what it felt like to have skin.

She looked around, her vision shifting every so often as Zoroark and human eyes traded places, like the same program in two old recordings. This place was inhabited, maybe, at some point — the Pokémon Center roof shining red in the semi-distance was proof of that.

Where am I? Is Kalama here? And why... She held up her hands, watching as they rapidly shifted from human to Zoroark hybrid and back. Why this!?

TerashiLeonGoken
Keiko looked around confused at first. The bright light in the sky wasn't artificial like she'd gotten used to seeing. But more importantly, there wasn't any metal anywhere nearby. Did she escape somehow? Had she been rescued? She breathed a sigh of relief and noted how much sweeter the air around her was compared to what she was breathing in that dank underground cell Lovrina had shoved her in. She went right back to being confused when she saw Tristen nearby. He was... significantly smaller than she remembered. She didn't recognize anyone else nearby, but at least she wasn't alone, even if something was DEFINITELY off...

"Fufufu...greetings, travelers." A voice echoed, cutting through the expanse where the gathered Snagems stood, both those who had arrived and those who would. From the void of space where the voice originated the scene began to distort, rippling like the static of a CRT television struggling to sync with an erratic broadcast. Slowly the blurry image of a man began to take shape, his form stabilizing as the fractured reality aligned with his presence.

A towering figure emerged, his wild gray hair and red eyes giving him an air of unnerving authority. Dressed in a tight fitting purple suit he surveyed the group with a cold dispassionate gaze. His expression was unreadable, a blank canvas, before he spoke again.

"Welcome to Chronos Island, the place where time goes when forward is no longer an option." His voice was smooth but tinged with a disinterested edge. "I regret that I cannot greet your arrival with the pomp guests deserve. Such is the nature of this...modest realm of refuse." He paused, eyes scanning the group with a detached amusement before continuing.

"You are all here because you have nowhere else to go. Your timelines, for whatever reason, met an abrupt end. Most often this occurs when your reality attempts to diverge, to branch off into its own existence. But Ultra Space loathes the birth of new realities. It will merge them back together or simply cast them into oblivion. When that happens everything ceases to be, as though it never existed." He let the silence hang in the air for a moment, his gaze now colder, sharper.

"However there are always a few unlucky ones who manage to escape the embrace of nothingness. You, for example..." He gestured to the group. "were brought here by me."

A cruel smile stretched across his face, a stark contrast to the calm demeanor he had worn moments before. It was a smile that didn't quite belong, unsettling in its misalignment with his impassive features. "I suppose you could say I saved you all. You're welcome."

Crystal's ears perked up when she heard the voice, looking away from her bag to see this new person in front of her, and others nearby as well. Concern would suddenly fill her, especially with this dapperly dressed man's appearance. As he spoke, her stomach twisted, slowly taking in what he said. Ultra Space? What was that? And when he said that those realities were cast into oblivion...

"Whoa, slow down a second." Crystal held her hands up, looking down as her ears fell quickly. "What is this Ultra Space you're talking about? And..." The Espeon hybrid paused, taking a deep breath. "Are you saying that we're the only survivors of our reality?" The knowledge she had gained with Snagem didn't extend to anything like Ultra Space, and she hadn't even considered anything outside of a singular line of time. What the hell was going on? "What makes us so special to be saved if that were the case? In my case, certainly, there are more impressive targets to save." The hand nearest to her messenger bag would be shoved back into the bag, digging for one certain orb. That man's smile.... His whole appearance, actually, it unnerved her. there was something about it, something... almost predatory in her mind. "Also, just who are you, anyways?

The voice startled Monique, who turned somewhere in the sky, looking around past figures familiar and very unfamiliar. The ghosty, streaky multipath interference in the direction where the form coalesced into a human form, a man, a large one. Monique was always short, but this guy definitely was taller than the average.

_You are all here because you have nowhere else to go. Your timelines, for whatever reason, met an abrupt end. Most often this occurs when your reality attempts to diverge, to branch off into its own existence. But Ultra Space loathes the birth of new realities._

Time. Of course it was time. If Pokéstar Studios or the producers in Nimbasa ever came calling to tell her life story, they might as well call it *The Girl Out of Time*. 49 years in the past, multiple Ultra Space journeys, and now this. All she could do was shake her head.

_When that happens everything ceases to be, as though it never existed. However there are always a few unlucky ones who manage to escape the embrace of nothingness. You, for example, were brought here by me._

A pit formed in Monique's stomach. She hadn't seen Kasumi and Kaimana since the Dim Sun saga began. She'd wondered what they thought of her now. But if this figure was any indicator, reality had gone from "tampered" to "defunct". There was not going to be a time to ask that question. And there were many questions, more immediate ones, that required her attention.

So that's what was going on. Keiko didn't just get saved from Lovrina. She got saved from the world getting destroyed. ...or something like that. The whole metaphysics speech kind of went over her head. She kind of did wanna thank that guy, but the creepy smile he had was making her worried. To make matters worse, Terashi wasn't here. Her boyfriend, the guy she wanted to spend the rest the rest of her life with.

He was nowhere to be seen...

Tristen stood there, going stiff as a board as he heard the voice coming from effectively nowhere. The chief had that sort of power; the chief saw all. He overstepped his bounds, and yet he wasn't sure how or when he did it. But then...it was a different voice. A voice he didn't recognize. When the towering figure emerged, Tristen would fall over backwards in terror, then quickly scrambled backwards, sand getting kicked up as he tried to get away, but there was no where to hide. Nowhere to run. He stared at the man, listening to his brief monologue. But he wasn't sure what in the world he was talking about. Timelines? Ultra Space? He saved all of them? Practically a foreign language to the child.

"If this is the alternative to oblivion-" announced a smooth, calm voice from nearby. "I think i'd have preferred oblivion." Anyone who chose to look would find the voice originated from a Leafeon hybrid, silver hair run through with streaks of green like grass or new growth leaves and mismatched eyes of amber and violet currently looking out to the sea of static all around the island. Those eyes would become clearly visible a moment later as the hybrid turned, looking at those who had already gathered one by one. His verdant ears, long and leaf-like, twitched occasionally as he tried to listen for any other clues that might be of help here. He felt like he should know this man that was now speaking to them all but why that was was far beyond him at the moment.

Sounds of static ringing through the ears suddenly begins to fade. A young man, no more than 22 perhaps, appears out of flash of light. A scent of sea air soothes his face, not something they encountered since descending into the depths of a cave of poisonous origins and dark ambitions. He covers his face from the sun to make sense of where he's at, looking around for any since of familiar.

"How did....I get here...?" He trailed off as noticed a few other unfamiliar figures looking just as lost and heard a voice speak out in it's sinister tone.

"My timeline ended....? Saved?!" His voice swells with anger.
"I was on a vital mission, take me back!" He barked while brandishing his belt, various of different pokeballs shimmering in the light from his dark outfit.

The towering man looked down at the gathered Snagems, finding their reactions initially amusing, even the non-verbal ones, that was until the Absol hybrid rose his voice and demanded he be sent back. "Back? There is no 'back' for you to return to! Now quiet down! I will not tolerate impertinence!" The man shouted at the hybrid, his red eyes appearing to glow from his anger. The silver haired man would then look at the others and begin to calm down, clearing his throat as he recollected his himself and returned to his more calm demeanor.

"Forgive my outburst..." He apologized to the others. "Now then, for your questions. Ultra Space is the whole of all realities. Like galaxies encompass sections of the universe, Ultra Space encompasses all there is, has been and will be. Every reality and every universe and their planets there in exist within Ultra Space. And yes, you are what remains of your respective realities. Some of you might note you come from the same or similar realities as well, though maybe not the same when. Regardless where you came from no longer exists, for reasons even I do not fully know." The man began to explain.

"As for who I am you may call me Nascour, a name some of you may be familiar with, likely one of my alternate selves. I have existed here on Chronos Island for so long that I can no longer recall my arrival or much of my life before. One thing I do recall is it were members of Team Snagem that brought me here but I assure you, no hard feelings." He said, again that unsettling, ill fitting, smile appeared on his face.

"Now then, for the sake of decorum, which is one of the few things one can control in this place, why don't we all go around telling each other our names, something about ourselves and a bit about the world we come from. Like say, what you were doing before showing up here. That might at least give us some insight on what became of your world." Nascour instructed them. "Who wishes to introduce themselves first?"

Despite the growing despair in her heart, Keiko raised her hand. "Hi. I'm Keiko. I joined Team Snagem... I'm not sure exactly when. I'm not sure what was going on there, either. I've been stuck in a cage for... I'm not sure how long. Some crazy lady wanted to experiment on me, I think? She never gave me any details. Sorry if I'm kinda quiet after this. I don't see my boyfriend here and I'm trying not to freak out..."

True to her word, Keiko clammed up after saying that. She was already sitting down, so she hugged her knees and tried to fight the rising storm in her heart.

"I've got no time for this show and tell facade. Especially not for someone we disposed of-" Suddenly a rush of cold ran all throughout his body, his expression changing as if horror befallen him. He reeled back his anger back and regained his composure. He looked down at his SNAG showing a "No signal" message flashed and a distress ping being sent out to any other devices nearby as form of SOS

He quickly surveyed those around him and noticed possible recognizable individuals.
I'm going to have to go along with this....
He let out a sigh.

"Tee. And I was on assignment to investigate a cavern that housed a certain Seviper of immeasurable size and power. However just before being able to plan a form of attack, I'm here." Tee folded his arms into his chest, blowing the white bang that hangs over his left eye.

"Oh and you," he raises his pointer finger at Nascour, "You're dead." He states.

One by one, the others would answer the man, some more hostile than others. Each complete strangers all. He wasn’t supposed to be with anyone else other than those in the tribe. The Electrike hybrid’s eyes welled up, completely stressed, terrified in fact, from trying to comprehend what he was seeing, what he was being told, fearing the consequences of any sort of action he wasn’t even aware he even did. The child didn’t know better. Was this punishment? Was this a test? Tristen was too frightened to speak up; this man, whoever it was commanded a sort of attention, not like the chief. No. The chief demanded respect. Discipline. Subjugation. This man, however…wasn’t quite getting that. He was getting confusion. Outrage. He couldn’t help but to stay silent all the same. He knew not what he was in.

"Nascour..." The name rolled off Monique's tongue with the unfamiliarity of a Poipole examining a tree. Was this preferable to eating poison ivy for breakfast? She wasn't sure. She hadn't heard of this man in her life.

She recognized some of the people on the beach, though their appearances were a little different. Poor Keiko? Was that her??? Sure, she looked different, but she was positively shaking. There were some that were totally unfamiliar, like the guy with the white hair, but at least she recognized Keiko's voice.

"Monique Kaʻanaʻana, faller, Sheriff of New Po... Member of Team Snagem." Her voice was firm, but her memories were about as unstable as her visage. "Was I in Johto? ...Or in Sub Rosa?" The tapes in her brain were cued up to two different start points. Not good. "...I'm losing it... Anyway, I don't think we've met. My world fell apart about... four years ago?" She had to fight to keep the current memories playing lest there be nasty co-channel interference in what she said.

She took a seat next to Keiko. She wanted to offer her some solace, but she wasn't sure how credible that offer would sound when your body is rapidly shapeshifting between two versions of yourself. This version of Keiko had to have come right out of all that experimentation she'd heard of.

Crystal tilted her head, frowning. Nascour... How had she forgotten him? And looking at the others introducing themselves, at least a couple would look familiar, as he popped in suddenly. "Tee? I'll take at least some familiar faces," she'd mutter to herself, running her free hand through her hair. Coming across the orb in her bag that she was looking for, she'd make sure it was in one specific part of the bag before bringing the other hand out, empty. "I suppose I should answer as well. Crystal Tanzanaki. Member of Snagem as well. Though, I wasn't on any sort of mission like my friend Tee here. We had some down time between major events for once."

Looking at the others again, she'd notice in particular the small Electrike hybrid looked rather scared, if not all the way to petrified. frowning, she'd walk up to him before squatting down to meet his eye level. "Hey there, kiddo," the Espeon hybrid would start, using a softer and gentler tone than earlier. "You gonna be okay? I get that this is... all unfamiliar territory. It is for all of us, I'm sure. Minus grey and flowy menace over there..." She'd jerk her thumb behind her, pointing it at Nascour. "You got a name that I can call you, other than kiddo? You don't even have to give me anything else, if you don't want. And we can take this one step at a time."
