the days are getting shorter, and soon the nights will be longer than they are, a reminder of the inevitability of mortality, and all the workings out of the second law of thermodynamics.

so here is a poem in honor of the equinox.

Sonnet on the Autumnal Equinox

The snows of yesteryear have gone away,
They linger only in our memory:
Vast frozen fields of white that turn to grey,
No living thing for miles around to see.
We gladly wait for spring, summer and fall,
The day-bright times when living takes full sway...
But winter comes and darkness takes us all,
And chill night must consume each futile day.

We dare not look ahead, no prophets we;
Preferring present joys, come then what may.
Ignore the shadows casting forth their pall.
We vainly claim our time to live it free:
"These sunlit hours suffice" we bravely say.
But winter comes and darkness takes us all.

i know this sounds kinda evil but it wrote itself, any thoughts on it?


fire to fire,
frim here down to hell,
the rain stopped a'pourin',
where the angels dwell,
thunder and lightning,
and fire as well,
we are all damned to a life in hell.


i dont know why i wrote it, usually my poems are just sad and depressing, not like whatever this is

Foolish heart

I love you,
how can I not?
there is not a second of my time wasted on thinking about you,
you are the only one I think about,
you are the only one I care about.
All I hope for is for you to return my feelings,
but who am I trying to kid?
you will never look my way,
much less return my love,
my heart and brain say yes,
but deep down I can hear them say no,
it hurts,
but it’s the truth,
you don’t even know I exist,
I’m just another person around you,
no one special.
I shouldn’t play these games with my mind anymore,
it just brings more pain,
everyday I have to wake up to the truth,
yet I ignore it,
and I keep loving you.
I can’t help it,
you are my everything,
and I can’t live without you.
so please,
let these game go on,
let me believe you love me back,
I know you don’t,
but I don’t care,
I can take the pain for you,
because I love you,
and I’ll never stop.
I’ll go on loving you,
with this foolish heart of mine.

Heres mine. Its a winter one also.

The sound of whisper in a cold sudden mist,
The droplets that only cause pain,
A fear that sends only madness,
A fear that only brings shame,
Kills trees and leaves,
Keeps most animals asleep,
A shadow with the colour grey,
Her frosty dark brown hair,
Hits her face,
Stinging cold,
She lays on the ice,
Tears drop,
A picture of a cold winter day...

this poem is the s**t and no it does not sound evil....when poems come from somewhere and they kinda write themselves it makes them better in a way....well at least that is what I think.... sweatdrop

Anger

Its dangerous and mean
it like to show its teeth
it get you in some troble
but your to blind to see
that it hurts you just as much
as the people its attacking
and you can control yourself
if its the anger you are lacking



yeah it ryhmes and its a little gay but I ******** just wrote so yeah it could use some ******** work...

Slowly day by day
Fading, I continually pass away
The hate that I feel
Like a deep worn scar
For an entire race to shame
Pathetic humans come to blame
I hate and despise everything about them
I detest the very thought
Fueling my anger as they do so well
Destroying their own living hell
Like irony brought to life
All it takes is a knife
To get the job done
You have a whole lifetime to wonder
And an eternity to reap your consequences
So don’t stop to think
So something that matters
When you die
Leave a scar where you are
In the minds of those around you
Make them fear like they like the animals they are
No better than savage bear
But yet far worse
In the end they are no better than the animals they dominate
But more hideous and awful is their nature
Then anything else
Survival of the shittest
I cant understand how they can stand their life
These disgusting humans
How they blindly walk straight into the endless void
Ignorant to all around them
I wish I wasn’t one of them
I know I’m a hypocrite
But still if I will
Destroy them
So slowly day by day
I still fade away
Till the day
Of the minute of decay
But…until then
I cant help but feel

Softly, under nights consuming veil
He drifts slowly
Beneath the stars malefic glow
He rapts judgment
He desires it so
Quietly through the doorway he whispers and creeps
Ensuring false security
This specter that weeps
He is a nightmare on hands and feet
A soul seeking repentance
And as floats aloft his former
He has waited so long
In a flash
Eternities reign breaks loose
This satin stained vermillion
This contentment filled void
One lover’s splattered on the ceiling
The others snickering in the dark.
