He explained how the most popular toothpaste flavour in China is green tea. The P&G executive also explained how the average Chinese values traditional herbal type products and that Crest markets dozens of toothpaste products to various small markets across China in an effort to meet the different region's expectations. Interestingly enough he also said that Mao Zedong never brushed his teeth but rinsed his mouth with green tea stating that "a tiger never brushes his teeth". Still today, there are millions of Chinese that do not brush their teeth.
