Zeta's Void of Rants and Writings (Why Not? Edition)

[Zeta Wave]

Greetings. For those of you who have yet to meet me on Why Not? Or Gaia, I am Zeta Wave. I am new to the thread, however not new to Gaia. Writing Poetry is a hobby of mine, so I figured I would share with you some of my writings. I have my entire collection thus far at My MSN Space, however I will also slowly post my writings here as well. Feedback is always loved. Thanks!  

[Zeta Wave]

I'll start with one of my personal favourites.

The March of the Irregular

One, Two, Three, Four,
I see them all march out the door.
Five, Six, Seven, Eight,
Sharing the world that they create.
I laugh as I watch them march along
All of them going to the same damn song.
Nobody is different, they are very much the same,
And much like this rhyme, its extremely lame.

My life consists of its own beat
One I choose and create
For myself.
Its much better this way, trust me.
One,
Two Three
Four Six, then back to Five
Seven and Eight,
Sure, Nine too.

At least this way
I retain my personality.
I retain my thoughts.
My Actions,
My Life.

Sure, I may not be marching to the
Same Beat
But that doesn't change the fact
That I am marching right beside the rest of the world.
Maybe I will make a few jealous,
And they will learn to march
To their own beat as well.

And maybe one day,
The thunder of billions of personal beats
Will echo across the universe,
And anyone out there will know
We are one race,
But not one mind.
We are one race,
But not one being.

Its really a good thing,
Think about it, because by principal,
If one marcher fell off a cliff,
Every follower would do the same
