Copyright and filesharing

I should note that it is illegal, though most people know that. Personally, I do not like that, but I do see where the idea that they are protected comes from. What do people think about filesharing and copyright laws that surround it?

Me, I think that filesharing is fine. I really don't see whats all the big yip is about with all the copyright laws.

I do understand their problem with copyright laws, just because they are loosing money when they don't sell their music. I DO think filesharing shouldn't be such a big deal though, they never threw a fit about this when people were just copying tapes. It all started to be a problem supposedly when people started copying cd's, it's a load of crap. And by the way I am one of the people that got busted when napster got shut down, and I still think they are all basterds.
