I log on gaia and low and behold i have an announcement. To my own surprise, i find that there is a 5th annual ball going on. The first thought that hits me is ... "how can they have a 5th annual ball when Gaia has been around for only 4 years?" But i shrug it off and decide to go visit the forum to see what all the hub bub is about.
So i browse the stickies, completely ignoring the individual threads, and decide to elongate my stay in the the light room. I have to say, i had some fun posting and playing in that room. I was able to achieve a 77 in the random number generator, but have yet to receive my prize. I hope to get is soon *taps foot*. And i met some nice people and even donated a dress to a random user. Over all it is nice, but i am still confused as to the purpose of the ball, other than for Gaia to increase it's overall post number. Perhaps they are trying to attract more advertisers? The future will tell.
