Day two!
Apparently, we decided to head back to the tree earlier than I thought, but this time, it was light outside. At first, we were all at the Del Mar Fair today(including Marsela) and tired ourselves out from walking around so much. We decided that today would be the best day to go since tomorrow I am going back to my Dad's house.
We headed out after the fair at about...I dont know....6-7 pm, between that time. It was still lught outside so we could see everything. Apparently, the book says it's past a slaughter house, but truthfully, its right after a cow farm, were they milk cows not kill them. The tree looked exactly like the picture in the book and we stopped the car right next to it for a bit and kind of just....stared at it. It was a pretty unigue tree, especially the way it was cut at the top.
But, due to the cows being right dab smack next to the tree, Laura didn't want to spook the cows and we decided to head down a dirt road, towards a place Laura and some friend went to the night before, after our adventure.
We found a pretty neat spot for hanging out. Someday...Lena, Kelli, Krys, and maybe even the Sarah's....I'm going to take you to the spot and maybe even the tree.
