Gaia Name: Kem Pet Unsu
Character Name: Sophia
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Race: Half white mage, half dark sorceress.
Magical abilities: Can make a few drops of blood in water turn all of the water into blood, force blood into a solid shape and into solid items like metal, change the shape of fire but not give it solid form, and her blood can heal when it is spilled by another's hand and falls on another's wound.
The drawbacks to her magic, mainly her healing, are that it cannot heal her own wounds, and the blood has to be spilled in battle to heal another. Also, when she uses her own blood in her spells, the blood forces whatever item she infused it with to become poisonous to whomever the blade or projectile touches. Until she admits her heritage as a white mage, she will never be able to control the healing. The blood will heal whomever it touches if spilled in battle, including her enemy if it falls on them.
Weapons: As long as she has anyone with blood, she has a weapon. A nearby stranger could be a weapon if she wished to drain the blood from their veins. But, Sophia has a weapon she made from the sword of a fallen soldier and infused with a battlefield worth of blood, changing the shape of the sword and the abilities it holds.
The sword itself has a two foot long straight blade, but near the end, it begins to curve a bit, giving it a scythe-like quality. The last foot and a half curves down, making it both a sword and a scythe in one. But, the curve is less dramatic, making the scythe-like sword a mix of both elements. The blood inside the sword allows her to straighten, lengthen, or shorten it at will.
Biography: Sophia's life was rough from the beginning. Although she has no memory of it, her mother was a white witch. Before the age of five, her memories are limited to little snippets and flashes of a feeling, but nothing else. All she remembers of her mother is her death, dying in a flash of white light by a white mage's stray spell. And her mother's scream, which haunts her memories to this very day.
Her father she has very few memories of. He played a very minute role in her life. Until the age of ten, she lived with her father, and a companion who came shortly after her mother died, four years older than herself. The father died when she was ten, but her friend, a boy named Draco, had already began teaching her blood magic and how to manipulate fire. As she and he grew together, working odd jobs and living nearly as strays until he joined the army to give himself some safe standing and Sophia some protection, he taught her more and more magic, until she became nearly as profound a blood magician as he himself.
Sophia soon became a loyal friend and almost a servant to Draco, believing she owed him her life because he saved her from living the life of a farmwife or poor peasant. She became known as the Blood Sorceress, and is far from the pretty little girl she may seem to be. But, she is also not the bloody warrior her reputation seems to be. The more she learns of what she doesn't know of herself, the more she realizes her memories are locked to her, the more she begins to become withdrawn and confused, even scared.

Extra Info: Sophia has a last name, Yelma, but she chooses not to use it, at all. She remembered her father as a man who hardly ever gave her a few moments of attention, so she simply dropped her last name. She also never used Draco's last name which was never given. He never spoke of it, so she never asked. He also never asked for her last name, so she never asked him what he didn't ask her.
She does not know that it was Draco who locked away her memories, believing that if she knew what she was she'd try to learn new magics, and therefore let her years of practice go to waste to learn to heal. When she remembers pieces without having all her memories returned, it gives her a headache and more confusion. The pain keeps her from wanting to learn, but her fear as she realizes she had a time before Draco is lost to her is enough to make her rethink having them brought back at any time.

Character Name: Jenivive; nicknamed Jay
Age: 2 years old, looks to be in her late teens.
Gender: Female
Race: Blue jay
Occupation: Runaway
Image:
Personality: Scared, shy, skittish, and very nervous at first, but when she finds someone she can trust she's a kind and compassionate person.
Biography: Jenivive, or as she dislikes to be called Jay, was not born as a human. No, she was born a blue jay, a beautiful sapphire blue jay with a voice that would make angels jealous. There was no other as beautiful or as pure of voice as her, or large. She was larger than any other blue jay she had seen, and therefore attracted human eyes. One day as she was flying, she came upon a little bowl of seeds. Hungry as a blue jay could be, she dove down and began to eat, when suddenly she felt two hands surround her and chirped in surprise. She had been caught by a wizard, who had admired her beauty for a long time. He decided to keep her as his pet, to sing and make him smile forever. But, a wild bird placed in even a roomy cage grows depressed, and although at first she sang to the many other canaries, swallows, and even hawks to help her escape, soon she sat in silence, wishing she could return to the skies.
It was after several weeks in captivity that something went wrong. The wizard, named Kayne, was trying to turn a cat into a human. But, the spell misfired, and hit a polished silver mirror. As chance would have it, the magician, the mirror, and the bird were all in just the right spots and at the right angles. As Jenivive slept, the spell went through her cage bars and hit her. She chirped, fell from her perch, and began to shift. Eventually the cage she was in broke, and on the floor laid a young girl with sapphire hair and dark blue eyes, empty like a bird's, but holding a very human sadness in the darkness. Kayne was delighted to see his spell had worked and that he had created such a feast for the eyes, but Jenivive was far from happy. She could not speak the language he spoke, but tried to chirp and speak as she did before. He, unable to understand her bird talk, named her Jay and gave her the gown she has worn ever since. Of course, Jenivive, or Jay, did not want to remain in his home anymore. Although it took her weeks to learn to walk and stand without her bird body, eventually she had figured out many things around his home and learned that the door could be opened, as windows did. On the night of the harvest moon, she grabbed a bad of seeds, bread, and fruit and ran away. For weeks, she ran, trying to get away from the wizard Kayne, but she always felt like she was being followed. Although she has learned of human ways very fast, she still cannot speak more than a few words. She has learned to mimic the sounds humans make, but she does not always understand them. The few she does are things like, "Food", "Bed", "Water", "Hurt", and so on.
Extra info: Jenivive is desperately trying to find a way to become a bird again, but to this point has not found any way. She can still talk to the birds, and understands many animals, but the human tongue is beyond her grasp unless it is taught to her. She also carries no weapon, since she had always flown away at danger. Lastly, Jenivive is terrified of people when she first meets them. Strangers scare her to the point of chirping in fear and nearly crying. Only when she is in need of help will she ask, and even then it is just with her limited vocabulary.
