1 Shinobu glided from the sky. Her trip had been an easy one. She landed swiftly and quickly took out a map of the grounds. She scanned its edges with her sharp eyes, looking for her dorm hall. Shinobu glanced at the other girl as she started walking. A simple elf, nothing special. She flicked her eyes back to the map, double checking where she was going. Hardly anyone was here. Shinobu glanced behind her. Her keen eyes noticed two new girls. A fallen angel and... Finally! A demon! She had nothing against the others, but a demon was right up her ally. A few demons had once visited her world. They had similar views on many things, as the vampires. They did not drink blood, but they had just as evil of a heart. Of course fallen angels weren’t that bad, but it was still nice to meet a demon. She kept walking until she opened the doors and walked inside. It felt very cozy. The mansion they were to live in wasn't that bad, almost a Victorian style. She gave a hint of a small smile on her red lips. This would be a fun time. She gave a small musical laugh as she started ascending the staircase. Shinobu glanced at the demon as she walked past. She gave her a small wave and a hint of a smile. Hopefully it would not be too hard to get to know all these people. There had been so much war between them all. But, it was their last hope of peace. "Peace..." She let out a small musical laugh. How could they ever be at peace again? Shinobu walked out of her room, closing the door behind her with a sharp click. She walked back down the stairs. She wanted to get acquainted with everyone. Finally she reached the door that opened up into the parlor. It was a beautiful room with a hand painted mural of animals on the ceiling. She then walked over to the room that separated the parlor from the living room. On the other side of the room there was a door that leads to the servant’s quarters. She could hear a quiet murmur of maids chatting as the worked. She grimaced and then turned and entered the living room. She noticed the demon again, but with her was a new comer. “Good Afternoon" She said to both of them in her soothing, beautiful voice. Shinobu silently walked past the two. She then opened the door to the main hall. She felt very alone here in this house. Walking down the hall the thought struck her that she could go on a walk. Explore the castle? It sounded like a time consuming idea. She shrugged and walked around the main hall. Examining all of the doors and their nameplates that told her what each contained. She reached the final door at the back of the room. She smiled a wickedly beautiful smile. The sign read "STOP! No one is allowed past this door!" She thought this would be a good room to start. Shinobu opened the door to the forbidden room. It was pitch black in here. Good thing she had sonar. She found a gas lamp in no time and then lit it. The lamp gave off a dull glow. She found that this room had nothing in it. The only weird thing was the dark stain in the middle of the stone floor. It looked like blood. "Ch- lame." She sneered. She was about to leave the room, when she noticed a smaller door. It was on the other side of the room, hidden in shadows. It looked like an insane asylum door, other that the fact that it was the same shade of dark gray as the walls. She walked over to it and started, noisily, fiddling with the lock. Shinobu finally got frustrated with the lock and hitched up her skirt "Goodbye door!" She said quietly before kicking the door. The door flew off its hinges making the loudest noise she had ever heard. It sounded like a million banshees screaming at the top of their lugs. She was sure everyone could here it. She fell backwards and landed on her a**. "Grrr..." She got up and fluffed her skirt back up. The door frame had cracked and broken, leaving evil splinters stabbing out toward her. She walked carefully through them, not allowing herself to be cut, until She was standing on the thresh hold of a vast library. "Wow..." she whispered. Two other students crept behind her but she paid them no mind as she silently stalked of to look at the old books on the dusty shelves. The books here were all in her language. The language of the ancient. She found many books on the old, more powerful, alchemy. Many books on demons and fallen angels. A large section dedicated to vampires. She walked down the thin alleys in awe. She loved to learn, and this place was the greatest for her. As she neared the end of the row she noticed the books gradually became less and less old, dusty and worn. She glided down the alleys till she found the last of the books. On a table a few books were open and writing themselves. A large book sat in the middle of the table. Its gold emboss faded with the years. The book was labeled. "The Library of Time." Shinobu reached for the book and picked it up. It was extremely heavy and took a lot of strength just to put it on an uncluttered part of the table. She took a chair out and sat down facing the book. As she read the first few pages, something struck her. This was all about why those books we're moving. "So...they’re writing about us?" She was confused. This was quite the strange experience. She got up from her chair and walked over to the newest shelf. Her eyes widened. "These books...are all about us..." She pulled a book of the shelves. It was titled "The evil amongst us." As she turned the first page and started to read she found, again, that the books were indeed about them. This one told all of her, thoughts, dreams, words, and adventures that had happened to her in this house so far. It was almost like reading an extremely private diary. She glanced up at the other books.
