Drawings in the Sandbox by, Sarah
Drawings in the sandbox, Faded memories, of times, etched in the back of your mind, They're there but just barely. To the point you can't decipher between Dreams and Reality. Tears you cried, left forgotten in puddles, from a time you almost forgot. A timeline drawn in the sandbox, pictures reflect a lonely childhood of a lonely child. Pictures drawn in sand, never last forever. They get swept away, by wind, or the tromping little shoes of other children, who will never experience the pain of being alone. They laugh and play as if they are unaware of the sinister cruelty of the world.
