Got my copy of the 3rd season of House so now I have all the good stuff <for now>. I'll probably order the 2nd season of Dr. Who that way too, cheaper than dropping $85 in Best Buy.
Got the 19th-21st vols of Naruto yesterday at Barnes and Noble. My buddy picked up the new trade paperback of Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness. I read it later and honestly thought it was okay, not as great as the first one but decent. I didn't think the jokes were as good as the first one, either that or the shock value wore off quickly from the first one. Of course there's going to be a another MZ set 40 years after the first one which should be interesting
Got some anime too smile Haruhi vol 3, I was going to get the box set but then noticed I already had the soundtrack so just got the single disc. Also got Eureka Seven boxset which had anime vol 9 and manga vol 6. Also When They Cry vol 3 smile My buddy was tweaked out by the first one so he won't watch the rest lol..
Brought the Superman vs Doomsday movie. Talk about a letdown!!! The voices felt like they were just being read off the paper, no feeling behind them. The lines drawn in Superman's face were unneeded, they just made him look bad. The overall fight between Doomsday and Superman wasn't believeable. I'm kinda disappointed in the company that made this, do they dare call themselves fan of Superman?? You're taking some of the most imfamous Superman stuff from the 90's and boiling it down to 75 minutes. I'm tempted to sell it somewhere just to get any money back from it.
