Wow, I just saw the Grudge. I almost died of a heart attack on at least five seperate occasions throughout the course of the movie. Only one thing stopped me from certain death/running out of the theatre crying- Buffy. Oops, I mean Sarah Michelle Gellar. Listen, I loved Buffy as much as the next person, and SMG was a GREAT Buffy- but she can't act. At least, not with the skill required to change this movie from the scariest thing of the year to something that will give me nightmares for the night and then let me move on. Well, maybe for a few nights. sweatdrop
On a not so good note, I found out yesterday that my boyfriend has been smoking for the past two years (well, really the last four years) without me knowing. Kind of a major piss off, but he's agreed to quit (He hates it, but he's addicted), so hopefully I can help him.
It didn't help that we went to a show (rock concert for those who don't know the lingo), where practically everybody was drinking, getting high, or smoking. Weed and Alcohol, in moderation, I can handle...cigarettes are a different matter. But he kept away from them all night 3nodding And the show was awesome! Dangerous Dan & The Douchebags (a local band made up of my friends), and three bands from Toronto doing a tour who were really really amazing. Plus I got to meet a bunch of new people. ^_^
