So I just had a great time today. I went to Pasadena (which is a city by Los Angeles if you didn't know 3nodding ) with my bestest friend Kaylee. We ate some lunch at this burger place called Islands and just hung out. Dude, it was SO cold. I forgot to bring a sweater, and I was freezing my a** off. Also, I had to wear the most UNCOMFORTABLE shoes on the planet for five hours of constant walking. On top of it all, I have a cold. I've been coughing up a freaking storm around here. I don't mean to sound all negative...
Anywayz, yesterday, me mum put up our christmas tree and it looks great! She made it all silver and gold. The holiday season is always my favorite one of all. No, not because of the presents. I mean, their nice and all, but I love the whole spirit thing.
All the houses are decorated with beautiful lights, in the morning, it is cold and clear out. You can see the snow-capped mountains (and your breath!) against a bright blue sky with pure-white puffy clouds. There are those holiday commercials on TV where you see a family sitting down at a festively decorated table while a woman (probably mum!) sets down a huge, succulent turkey cobered in herbs and stuffed generously.
I dunno, I just get this warm, happy feeling like all of the commercials say you are supposed to get. Feels great.
