I haven't watched Mushishi forever!
So it took me a little while to find where I had left off.
Plus, I started to read the manga so I wasn't sure if I had watched that particular episode or if I just read about it.
I figured at around episode 16. So I watched it.
It was about this mushi who hid in the shadows and entered your brain when you were sleeping. And slowly it took away your memories of things that you didn't see or think about often.
There was no cure in the end for the mother who had been infected with the mushi. Her husband was a traveling salesman but she remembered him because she thought about him so much. She and her son Kaji left to go find him and found out that he had left them and started a new family with someone else. When they found out, she grabbed her son and ran the other way until she collapsed and fell asleep for days. When she awoke, she had lost all her memories about her husband. Yet she still had the habit of setting a plate of food out for him.
It was so saddd! T__T But that's party why I love Mushishi!
Ginko...*sigh* <333
