Saturday, bitches.
Lawl
While on my walk this morning, had a lot of time for thought.
It was really nice getting out with my two best friends [Gretchen and Gracie] who, bty the way, just so happen to be a German Shepard and a Jack Russel/ Shih Tzu mix.
It felt really good to get up early and get out for those 45 minutes.
Saw a bird--well, really i heard it first-- sitting on the ledge of a house, chirping wildly at it's reflection. Made me think "damn at least in the morning at the bus stop, the annoying chirping bird is 'across-the-street-on-a-street-lamp-and-i've-been-awake-30-minutes' and not 'first-thing-in-the-morning-when-i-wake-up-this-damn-thing-is-outside-my-window'"
All for the giggles, most deff.
I still hate birds, though.
Anyways, i think we're going to go see that new flick with Jackie Chan and Jet Lee today...can't remember what it's called but, i think it'll be a good one. If not, at least i got to see Jackie-fckn-Chan and Jet-fckn-Lee play together in a movie! Lawl, Hollywood must be getting desperate. xp
Nearing the end of a surprisingly good book i'm reading. It's called "World War Z; an Oral History of the Zombie War".
I expected just a bunch of "oh my god, we're trapped and there's zombies outside wanting to eat our brains! Run!" sorta moments in it but, it's acctually very well thought out and composed---
In an era sometime after WW2 but not quite today, it's when there's a virus--maybe not a virus, but something for more a scientific point of view causing the dead to reanimate and eat the living.
Sounds simple enough, right?
Well, in this book, what's really broken down are the human nature elements of how the military and REAL people would really respond....Not just the survival tactics but, more so, the emotions and psychically responses... For example: SOME people are so scared that they have a complete and utter breakdown and end up with some mental disorder where they actually think and act like zombies themselves. but, of course, it's much deeper than that on account that particular subject came up when an ex-medic was being interviewed.
There are so many accounts where i'm pleasantly surprised to the attention to detail is taken place. Not a bad book or a waste of time, like i thought it would be.
I highly suggest it, even if you think the idea of zombies is irrational like i did...still do. Get into it. Fer sure. domokun domokun domokun 3nodding
