Footprints in the frosted fields left by a wanderer. A breif pause in his turmoil as all is quite. The cold wind flows gently across his face, creating bristles along his neck. Although all is mute, he can here himself breathe. Breaking breaths slowing coming to a calm and steady tide of air through his lungs. It seems that all that has happened seemed to matter not to him as he gazed on the iced earth. He closed his eyes, and it came to him, only for a moment. A choir of angels singing in his head, so distant. Light flooded into his mind as he saw her. So brilliant. She floated closer to him gracefully from the heavens, her wind swept hair trailing behind her. Arms stretched wide in his direction, a sympathetic feeling overcoming him, falling to his knees and crying. He didn't know why he cried, he had no control over it. A since of judgement felt as if it was on it's way. "Feel as you will, you feel what you have always wanted to feel. The time will come for your judgement day, and all will be forgiven. Stay true to what you feel, you can never be wrong in doing so." He looked up from the ground feeling unworthy to see such a figure, but he could not help it. A kindly smile was given to him as the ultimate look of care was in her eyes. "But I do not know what I feel, I'm so confused. I don't even know who I am.. Please. Just-, just help me." His body tensed and he awaited an answer. "I cannot help you. Things do not always make sense, but in the end, you will know all you want to know." She began to ascend back to her place of origin as she spoke those last words. "Don't you leave me, DON'T YOU LEAVE ME! What am I to do?!?" He screamed to no avail. As he watched her float away, she looked up to the heavens, wings spouted from her back extending widely. Feathers fell to the groung slowly, she gave a last look at him and saw the sadness in his eyes. With a single stroke of her giant wings she was gone. The light left his mind and he opened his eyes. It was still bright, it was only daylight. He looked back to the building, sound returning to his ears, he could still hear the alarm going off. The graveyard behind it seemed almost beautiful. Headstones were seperated just the right amount around the hilltop, lightly drizzled in the newly fallen snow. Although it was still the same day, it seemed so new. Sleet giving life and a refreshing feel to all it touched. He closed his eyes once more, hoping to see the benevolent woman that visited him as he closed his eyes last time. This time, nothing. A stiff breeze opened his eyes, he looked upon the heavens, and it seemed to move. Dodging left to right, right to left, closer and closer, a single snowflake took landing on his face as it quickly melted. "It seems the new snow is in. So beautiful." He arose to his feet and began to walk, just walk. "Whats to come now?"
