This entry will be focused on the role-playing game of Vampire I realize that role-playing games may be slightly nerd-y to some, but this is a good one. First thing's first, there are two roles - the storyteller and the player. You must understand how time passes in the game. There is first a turn, then a scene, after that a chapter, and then a story, which then leads you to a chronicle (made up of series of stories) and these are all commanded by the storyteller. You are able to choose from 13 different clans each with their own traits such as the clan Gangrel, they are usually loners and rustics they have shapeshifting abilities of animals (mainly a wolf is chosen due to a prefered kinship with the lupines) that you may choose from and are the only ones who dare venture out of the cities (due to lupines most kindred or vampires stay in the city perimeter). Another clan is the Brujah who respect no authority and consider themselves free, they mostly have the ability to control those around them and supernatural quickness. Now as a reminder these are only two and there are many more to choose from. Other traits, attributes et cetera can be obtained. The book is called The Masquerade which provides you with every possible thing needed to play. The book only features 7 of the 13 clans.
Now that I have breifly (hopefully successfully) explained the basic knowledge there is more which I do not have the time to explain ( I promise there is not that much more) but if further information is wanted you can go ahead and just ask i will be willing to answer any questions. I apologize for the lengthy (probably confusing) description.
