Swirls of emerald green and aqua blue made up the surface of her eyes, her pupils dilated as she looked at me. Her hair as dark as midnight flew around her in a daze, the curls getting caught in her lashes, then moving away again. With the flicker of her wrist, her fingers were gliding upon my skin, caressing the contours of my cheek, down my chin. Her touch sent electrical pulses throughout my body, raising the fine hairs along my arms, my neck, and I shook with the chill that it gave me. Yet somehow, her touch seemed to warm me, making every part of my flesh feel like it was on fire, her own body emanating with such a fire that I felt my knees grow weak. My body shook with the power her presence had upon me, my breathing erratic, and hot against my chest.
Her eyes searched my face, full pink lips parted as she looked at me longingly. And with the voice of a siren, soft and melodic, pulling me into its yearning embrace, she said to me..."I'll give you life... I'll give you everything you've ever wanted. Every fiber of my being was made to mold into the soul that is yours, to complete your own and to exist with me entwined. So forget all your morals... create your own. Deny that there is a limit to what you can do, and accept that nothing is impossible. Be in me. Another part of you. To exist for all eternity. You can do anything. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise... take me from this place, and I'll show you everything. Save me."
I turned toward her, my body shaken, heart beating so violently against my chest, and her hands fell away. Before I could utter a single word, she was gone, the natural perfume of her skin left penetrated in the air. A sorrow as suddenly as she had disappeared left a massive weight in my chest, my throat tightening with the feeling of loss. And through the air, I heard an echo, whispered and serene, my eyes searching for the source of the sound, but the voice was everywhere. "....I was made to love you." And then there was silence, and I was left alone once again.
