Yeah, okay, so I had one of those inspiration slaps Madison was talking about. I'll probably only write one entry of this...and then not be able to write anymore. 'Tithe' fan fiction. Pshyeah, you heeaaarrrdd.
Robyn sat in a shadowed corner of the room in which the Unseelie Court was to perform the Tithe. The purpose of this Tithe was that the Seelie Court would be under rule by their Queen. If the Tithe was not to be performed, the Court would be free of ruling for seven years. Truly, that is not as pleasing as it sounds. To not have ruling over the Court would be the worst disaster history would know. All the magical creatures would go about everywhere, making humankind their pets. And of course, simple-minded humans would be hypnotized by the sweet, blood-filled fruits and wines, and they would be utterly blinded by the beauty of a magical being. Then there are some magical beings that are much more sinister, and would kill humans rather than making them their pets. It would be true pandemonium.
Her amethyst eyes fell upon Roiben, the Unseelie Queen's knight, who had beside him the human that would be sacrificed in order to renew the Tithe. She had blond hair and Asian eyes, and there was something not right about her, though Robyn could not exactly put her finger on it. When they strapped the human down with the iron locks Robyn noticed how she flinched. It could be from fear, but more than likely it was because the iron was burning. "Son of a b***h..." She whispered to herself. This human was no human at all, she was as well, a magical being. But by the time it actually registered in her head that she should do something, the beginning of the disaster that was about to come started. The human knew Roiben's name, and for that he was hers. She used his name wisely and commanded him to save her. The killings started, and more people shifted from their seats to save the Tithe. There was no turning back now.
