That's something I never knew about you. I'm sorry that you suffer from this illness, and I hope that you'll continue to get by as normal.
I feel no shame in admitting that I support stem cell resaerch, (let's save the debates for elsewhere, eh?) and I'd love to know that they'd find a cure for this disease. Not just for you, but anyone else out there with it. (By the way, your numbers are a tad off. At .5%, five hundredths of a person would be ill out of ten; out of 100, a half of a person would be ill. It seems you're approximately one out of two hundred.)

I am still thankful that you retain some degree of hearing and are not completely deaf. As an optimist, I tend to be happy for what we still have, instead of spiteful for what we've lost. It's a healthier way of thinking. 3nodding

It's seriously not fair for you of all people to be suffering this crap...let alone going through it with just a positive attitude. 'HISTIOCYTOSIS'...never heard of it and I'm disliking it already...as if I'd like it in the first place. And I understand why you don't want to go through that belief breaking process because of what you believe.

Don't give that dream up just because up some disease like this. I know you can overcome this. Hey if Beethoven could compose such symphonies with deaf ears, you can surely do it with one girl.

heart heart heart Many hugs and love and kisses to my Tiff. I donate every pay check to HAA. I have been since you got sick. You are one of the sweetest and most caring person I know. You are concerned about how to help other people and rarely worry about yourself. I rember one time we were watching a show about sick kids, and instead of thinking about you being sick, you wondered how we could help those other kids. Your kindness and concern for others is amazing and you are much admired and love for it.
