Yesterday was the best day of my life!!
I woke up at 9:30am or so on Monday, February 16th to Ashli’s voice. “I’m going to do my taxes; if you don’t wake up I’m going without you.” Her voice was clearly exasperated; I had guessed this was her fourth or fifth attempt at waking me up. A few days before that, on Friday the 13th we had gone out for Valentines Day. (We could not go on the actual day because we both had to work.) Nevertheless, it was just fine that way, anyway. I took her to see the new Friday the 13th movie in theatres and it was actually very, very good! We MUST own it when it comes to DVD! Also on our outing, we went to eat at the best restaurant in the world! A little bohemian place called Panera Bread! I had broccoli cheddar soup (As always) and Ashli had this cheesy calzone kind of thing. After all of that, we made our way home, picking up a few movies on the way; When Harry Met Sally (Eh…), Punk Love (Ew! Worst Movie EVER!), A French film called Priceless (It was soooo sweet!) and another movie whose name I can’t remember. Then we came home and I gave her the Valentines gift. It was the movie My Bloody Valentine cleverly (And then again, not so cleverly) disguised in an empty box of chocolates. LOL. XD Anyway, that was Valentines Day, back in the present, I was pulling on some clothes; an earth-toned Baby doll shirt, khakis, brown flats, and my shamrock necklace (It certainly came through for me.) and we began to search for a place called Instant Tax. Which we found after getting lost a few times and a few phone calls later. Inside the establishment, a nice man named Tommy did our taxes. He even dropped our rates a little to be nice. When we left, not only did I have free refreshments, but I left knowing that I would get the Stimulus I did not get last year too! I was so happy. After that, we came home, gave Azzy a bath and a haircut, and then we watched some the rest of the movies so we could return them in White House. We took Azzy with us and wound up going to the park too. Then we came home, relaxed, and after dinner Ashli remembered to check the mail. And GUESS WHAT WAS IN IT? A letter from Western Kentucky University!!
It reads -
Dear Sarah:
Congratulations! Your admission application has been approved for the Bowling Green Western Kentucky University for the fall 2009 term.
Ashli and I proceeded to freak out and jump around in joy.
GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE.
