Novella sat down and was clam again. Lavi sat down next to the girl. "I'm fine now." She said leaning on his broad shoulder. The sun was just now coming out. The sky was a fine blue, and was streaked with small fluffy white clouds.
Novella stared out the sky. Lavi thought of how he would tell her. He'd start off with his job that much he knew. "Novella..." He began.
Novella turned. She had never looked so pretty to him before. Lavi blushed slightly. "Yes?" She asked. "I want to explain something...." Lavi began to explain about his job, the way he recorded wars, the way he created fake people to be for each war.
Novella hadn't expected this to be Lavi. She knew he was a mystery. But none the less she looked at him and listened. Once he was done she moved closer. "Why would you tell me all of that?" She asked intently. She looked as if she really did want to know. She understood what he told her, but didn't understand why.
Lavi smirked and leaned close enough to were he could kiss her. "I'll tell you later...Novella." He breathed her name again. It sounded...not seductive...but sweet. Novella blushed deeply at this. She pretended to pout and fall back. She crossed her legs and looked out the window. 'He's going to tell me something...possibly might change my life...well not like what he said before didn't....' She thought.
They arrived at the train station and Lavi and Novella stepped off. They got off the platform and into the town.
Novella grew extremely impatient. She hated waiting. "Lavi what did you want to tell me? Or are you going to keep me waiting another day?" She asked snappinig.
Lavi stopped walking and faced her. He was smirking. Novella glared. "Maybe tommorow." He said sly. Novella had the urge to hit Lavi. Lavi laughed outright. Her being angry was so damn cute to him. Novella wasn't amused. "WHAT?!" She shouted. Lavi was laughing so hard he fell to the ground. Novella almost kicked him. She couldn't see why he was laughing so hard. She crossed her arms and waited for him to stop.
Lavi eventually go up and toke her hand. He dragged Novella along. It was almost night now. Novella tried to protest but before she could. "Lavi!" She yelled frustrated.
She had no clue where he was leading her but wasn't amused.
