Past: When Ron was a child, his father, who was once a powerful demon, lost his status due to a war among the demon clans. His father took to drinking and his power and ruthlessness turned towards his family. When Ron was 14, his father, during one of his drunken states, attacked his mom with a flaming sword and though Ron tried to stop him, he couldn't. Both of his parents died that night.
The years that followed were a blur of survival and power struggles. Eventually he learned how to take power from others and has taken powers from humans, elves, faeries, and demons, including one who had black wings (which is how he acquired them). He vowed to never be weak again. Only one person has escaped his collection, though at first he didn't realize her power had not transferred. When he did realize, he searched for her; yet he could not find her and thus assumed she was dead from the poison he put in her blood during the power transfer.
