I'm soooo tired. x D x;;
We went to the carnival before and after graduation. BAD IDEA.
Carnival rides+flashing lights+nerves almost made me sick several times.
But the graduation itself was awesome. I had to go to the school that morning for practice (Which lasted several hours. gonk )
And then I came home, messed with my hair a little, and played Yoshi Island with Ashli.
Then at 3:30 or so we left to go to the carnival, played around there for a bit, got jelly shoes at Wal-mart for 1.00, and then came home to get ready.
We got there, and after about a million hours standing around and talking we lined up and marched out onto the football field. (Yes, we had our graduation outside. We were the first class to do so since 1977.)
Anyway, I won a few awards, got my diploma, and we were ready to go.
My dad ditched me pretty much as soon as it was over. I never even got to saw him until I got home. But I did see some relatives that I never see. Some aunts and cousins. They gave me cards and my aunt put together a photo album of me, my brother, and my mother, some of which I have never seen before! It was such a nice gift.
I wore my mother's high school class ring to my graduation (around my neck), so this gift was extra special to me.
Then we went to the parking lot and talked to some of Ashli's folks for a while. It was her sort of ex stepfather's girlfriend (We call her Big Mama) and her daughter and someone they know. But anyway, they were more supportive of me than even my own family was. It was awesome. Ashli's parents couldn't make it, but I was still really happy Big Mama, Jojo, and them came.
After that, Ashli and I went back to the carnival and stayed pretty much until closing time. (I almost got sick. Repeatedly.)
My stomach has been so weak lately! (I blame it to all the fast food I've been taking in. I never did have a very strong stomach.)
Then we came home, quite tired, mind you, I washed out the 10lbs of hairspray in my hair, and went to bed. I was too tired to do much else.
So now I'm an adult, out in the free world. With a job, a car, a fiance, and many worries, as usual. I'm missing kindergarten when my biggest worry was whether or not I'd get the beanbag chair for naptime!
I think I'll take a nap. D:
