Hidan didn't not ******** agree to this. That ******** Hokage b***h was for some ******** reason in this hellhole, but was ******** pretending that she wasn't the Hokage and was now bossing them around and telling them that two little ******** girls were going to be leading them around like dogs on a ******** leash?! Bullshit! He wasn't going to listen to any lavender haired midget or some green eyed b***h! No! It was bad enough he had to listen to that b*****d Sasori! Why the hell should they listen to some girls who didn't even have any chakra?! And yet, no one gave any protest, instead following the brats into a big room with lots of tables and then up some stupid stairs and then sitting at a ******** stupid table! He glared at the whole lot of them and wished for scythe. He sat next to Deidara, though, once again, the sorry excuse for a boy tried to escape him again. He put a hand on the other's thigh, still glaring at the girlie who dared to try to talk about a ranking system, even as he tried to move to see if Deidara really was a boy under the table...He had to make sure this day wasn't a total waste somehow, right?
Okay...So this was looking to be a complete waste of time...Sasuke allowed Naruto to watch the weird village pass by through the window and tried to convince himself to look, too, since it would be wise to at least try to get a idea of their surroundings...But he couldn't stop looking at the overly fascinating dobe who had the excited reactions of a child seeing their first kunai as he looked through the window...And of course there was the fact that he still hadn't managed to get his hand away from the dobe...Damn it, did the idiot have super glue stuck to him?! Sasuke was torn between being amused by Naruto's reactions and fuming about his traitorous hand when the...Bus? Stopped and Naruto dragged him off before the doors were even fully opened, making him almost forget the stupid bag he had gotten. He felt a dark cloud beginning to build over his head as he looked at the building they had retreated from last night. It was big...And filled with people. Once more, females saw him and quickly began that annoying whisper that all girls did. As if they thought they were being discreet or something as they looked at him as if any moment his clothes would suddenly fall off. He would take Sakura any day. At least she had some decency...Wait. He stopped at seeing a female staring at him with pink hair, long though, and green eyes, wearing a red shirt...Sakura? No...What would she be doing here? She would've rushed over if it was her, wouldn't she? He tried to get a better look, but she disappeared into the crowd of whispering girls. He gave them all cold glares, but that just made the whispers worst. He kept a firm grip on Naruto's hand, but they didn't seem to notice. Idiots. All of them. He hated the whole female population. Which, of course, made the whole next scene much worse. He had discreetly rolled his eyes when Tsunade showed up again. Or was it Tsunade? Well...Her name was Tsunade...(Hey...I thought we were going to change names? Since a name like Tsunade really would cause looks in Texas...Herai is fine, since she was like...Adopted, right? But whatever, really. )Still, she didn't even spare him or the Akatsuki members a glance once again and she didn't seem to know what sensei meant, which was dumb. (Heh...How are we going to explain that they know both English and Japanese? x'D ) But it seemed like whatever village Tsunade was in, she still was here to torture and hate him. This was further demonstrated as she handed over the duty of escorting them to two obvious young girls, one looking like she shouldn't have been out of the Academy yet and the other looking like she was sure she wiser then all of them. Females. Smiling females. "Hn." he muttered, reluctantly following the stupid females, one hand shoved in his front pocket, the other still firmly latched onto Naruto's. This was getting stupid. He had to let go at some point...But...Not right now. He sat at the selected table, refusing to notice the females that had taken tables near them. Not all of them were looking at him, of course. Some were looking at his brother (he couldn't even imagine why.), some were looking at the red headed Akatsuki member, some were looking at Neji, some of the females with darker clothing and stranger hair were practically panting at Gaara, some were looking at Naruto (Sasuke gave those ones his most dangerous glare and a few drifted away, but most stayed. Damn females.), some were giving the blond Akatsuki member a few curious, intrigued looks, some were glancing at Sai and then eying the female he was sitting next to who had made them sit at this table in the first place, some were even looking at the silver haired, foul mouthed Akatsuki member! Though, those females were barely wearing what could be called clothes...Did he ever mention he hated females? Even their own female, Temari, was getting looks. Though they were not the same kind as he was getting...It seemed the only one who wasn't getting any kind of looks was the little purple haired female and that was probably because she was practically hiding beside the copper haired female. Weakling...He narrowed his eyes at her as she tried to smile at him and she quickly turned away. Good. He'd rather have a scared female then a stubborn one. He glared at the female who had decided to talk. Ranking system? "Wouldn't it be smarter to learn the names of the people you are supposed to be showing around?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Not that he wanted to give the female his name exactly...But he didn't want to be referred to as something stupid when she realized that she didn't know his name...He hated females...
He hated not being able to see...Yes, he may have thought this before, but the problems it caused as the bus stopped...It was aggravating, to say in the least. He had followed Sasori off the moving, now stopped, thing and had been greeted by loud voices, laughing, yelling, screaming, even a few people crying...And no chakra. None at all. Well...Actually...It was more like how a very small bee hive's chakra would feel like. There were so many people here that the very little chakra they all had combined and gave off a tiny pulse. But he couldn't even make out individual chakra, much less pin point where the people might actually be. But he held his head high and put on his usual polite disinterest look and discreetly let Sasori lead to him wherever they were going. A normal person might have felt some fear, some apprehension at being towards an unknown destination that was filled with people by a person he didn't fully trust. But he was Itachi. And as such, he felt none of this. He felt some annoyance, a slight unease, but nothing else. He listened to the brief conversation between what he recognized to be someone who at least sounded like the Hokage and a girl. Escorts? And he seriously doubted anyone with such little chakra would be able to kill any of them...They didn't need girls protecting them. It was ridiculous. And he was sure they would be able to find their way around. Well...He couldn't at the moment, but Sasori obviously could. They all could. They were shinobi. Not often did they get real maps or useful directions...It was stupid to assume they wouldn't be able to navigate this...Torture building. Why were so many young, civilians here anyway? Was this some kind of experiment facility, like Orochimaru had ran? Torturing and testing things on civilians? Then why were they here? He didn't care if all of these civilians got tortured...They were very loud, after all. But that didn't explain why the Hokage was here, but without any...Memories, maybe? Hm...He continued to follow Sasori, now used to the slightly more in focus red blur that walked in front of him. It seemed he had more trouble seeing things farther away then seeing them up close...Not good. He sat at what was obviously a table, sitting on Sasori's left, the mutt obviously on Sasori's right, while who appeared to be the Hyuga sat on his left...Better then next to his foolish little brother at least. He focused his eyes on the girl voice that he didn't recognize, making sure to look at her face. He didn't need people to know he was blind after all...Ranking system? Of what? He listened to his otouto's cutting question and if he had been anyone else would've chuckled at the bratty tone. Though it was a good question. He listened to the Suna girl's question as well. Hm? Schedule? For what? He seemed to have not gotten some information...He hated not getting information. A lot. Sasori would have to fill him in ...It was one thing to be blind, but to also not know what was going on? Simply not acceptable.
This was not acceptable. Temari had passed the time on the bus by studying the kids there. None of seemed very...Intelligent. Some boys tried to engage her in conversation. Idiots. Morons. She quickly cut them down with a few words, not sparing them anything as she might have done if she was being diplomatic. Usually she liked to play mind games, but these idiots weren't even worth it. Did they really think acting like pigs and looking like slobbering, testosterone oozing morons would gain her attention, much less her affection? Oh where was Shikamaru? Not that he would defend her honor or anything. Much too troublesome. He actually probably would've been asleep against the window as she got attacked. But at least she could've had a conversation with him, and shown the idiots that she obviously didn't care how hard they could punch someone. (Not that they could punch very hard without any chakra...Morons.) She obviously valued brains before bronze...She missed her lazy a**. So she sat there, missing Shikamaru and watching her brother, who seemed to be pissy. She wondered, also, if Kankuro had went back to Suna. What was their village going to do without the Kazekage? Or her, at least? What would Kankuro do? She didn't think the council would be able to do much...But maybe they would be able to keep under wraps until they got back. They had to get back soon, right? How long could they possibly stay in this world? Did time pass normally here? She thought about all of this as imbeciles drooled at her and the bus kept moving. Finally it stopped and she was forced to get out of her thoughts and pay attention to her little brother. She got out of her seat swiftly and accompanied the Hyuga and Gaara off the bus and onto the grounds. She looked at all the people...A lot of girls. But also a lot of boys, as she quickly noticed. If they kept looking at her legs and chest, someone was going to get hurt. Badly. She huffed, annoyed, as she walked behind Gaara and the Hyuga, acting as a bodyguard. Yes, she caught the looks that were being sent at her little brother. Obviously, she knew that Gaara wasn't interested in...Their kind, but they didn't. If one of them got even an inch too close, that unfortunate girl would be sent flying. No doubt about it, really. Temari just wasn't in a very good mood as once again they met the Hokage and she didn't even give a polite, diplomatic greeting to the Kazekage or the main Suna ambassador! She knew it was the Hokage...Or at least someone who looked exactly like her...It was hard to miss Tsunade's...Well...Personality? Wait. Escorts? Really? Seriously?! Temari looked at the two girls...Well. At least neither of them were drooling at any of the boys...Always a good sign. And neither of them looked stupid...Another plus. Still. Temari would have to keep her eyes on them. Just in case. She did notice that someone seemed to have already found themselves perfectly comfortable with their new escorts...Mister Smiles seemed to have made friends. Great. Maybe he would stop being such a pain in the a** to them and bother the girls instead. Though Temari could have sworn he was gay...Who wore that much leather? Maybe he was bi...Gah! What the hell was she thinking?! Didn't she have better things to do?! Temari scolded herself and followed the new escorts inside the building and to a table. This had to be the...Cafeteria. Yes. Where the people stayed until some kind of bell was heard. This was also where food was served and then eaten. She looked around. It didn't look that good. She certainly wasn't looking forward to eating a meal in the big room...Especially if it was as crowded as it was now. Why was their table surrounded by girls? Really. Did they not have any dignity? The boys weren't even that good looking! Not that she had ever been a big looks person...She just knew she looked good. Forget everyone else. She focused back on the girl with copper hair and green eyes. She seemed to be the one to do the talking. The other girl was cowering, it seemed. Not that the traitor brat was helping with all the glaring...Though...He did make a good point. "And also, aren't we supposed to be getting schedules? So we can know where we are supposed to be going?" she asked the girl, much more politely then the Uchiha brat. She didn't the girl who was going to be helping them or something to think they were all as rude as the Uchiha, after all.
He didn't care if he was being rude. Gaara had stared out the window the whole short bus ride. He wasn't exactly thinking or listening to the others on the bus. He was just staying silent. He had never been a good conversationalist anyway...And silence was better then awkward, pointless chatter. So he waited out the ride in silence and then followed the other people off the bus. As soon as he saw all the loud, obnoxious people he moved closer to Hyuga. Not because he needed protection or anything. No, that was ridiculous. No, it was just that Hyuga was slightly taller (more like a good couple inches taller...) and made a good distraction, of course. Sadly, this plan didn't work as well as he would have liked. Crimson red hair stood out for no good reason. But he gave them all glares and his sand shifted in the pack on his back. It didn't make much sound, though. Stupid material muffled it. How annoying. He followed at Hyuga's side, Temari's eyes on him the whole time, as usual. The building from before seemed bigger then it had been during the night. Maybe it was all the people...Once again the Hokage didn't acknowledge him at all. He couldn't say he was surprised now and didn't even bother feeling offended. This obviously wasn't the Tsunade they knew. He remained stoic as they were given escorts...He was more then used to those. He tended to get...Lost a lot...He was usually assigned escorts for both Suna and Konoha. He didn't bother even looking at them and just went to the table without complaint. He sat with Hyuga on his right and Temari on his left. Naruto was on Temari's other side, with the traitor next to him, then one of their escorts, the one with purple hair, then their calmer looking escort, then the somewhat annoying smiling shinobi, then the foul mouthed Akatsuki member, then the one that looked like a girl, then the bossy red head who had given him his bag, then the older Uchiha, and finally back to Hyuga. The seating arrangements probably could've been worse...He didn't notice the girls at the other tables and instead focused on the copper haired escort. Ranking system? As in genin? Chunnin? Kage? Well, they obviously knew those already. Even civilians knew that. He hated the traitor for making a good point and nodded with Temari, even though he had no idea what she was talking about. He just knew to nod when she used the 'might I make a suggestion that is obviously the better idea?' voice. This seemed to be getting them no where...
Sai was getting no where. He had become dumbfounded when he was suddenly accused of trying to kill the girl he had been trying (and failing) to talk to. Pretty pale skin? Dami? Sharpened chopsticks? What? And she said it all in a high pitched, very fast voice, so he barely understood it, even if it had made any sense. He had not been very sure how to respond. Even Hayate was momentarily caught off guard by the sheer randomness of the outburst. He watched as her friend calmed her down, though the random girl kept giving her friend side glances, as if to make sure that it was okay...He finally got himself together as the girl addressed him. "Oh no. It was my fault. Sometimes my first impressions are not the best I could make. Or so I've been told. I hold no grudges with your friend." he said pleasantly, eyes closing and smiling at both girls. He felt the bus begin to stop and took the girl's -now known as Herai- hand with his own leather covered one. He shook it lightly and a moment later got kicked by Hayate. He was supposed to have lightly kissed it, but once again had messed up. Hm...Maybe this new world was messing with his memories..."It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Herai and, of course, Miss Violet. You may call me Sai, if you wish." he said politely, smiling still, of course. He really hadn't been planning to make bonds here...They all wanted to go back to their own world, after all...But...Well. Not everything always went according to plan, correct? He followed them both off the bus, watching as Violet clung onto Herai. He looked from his group to the girls. Well...Now was the time to separate...Maybe they would continue to meet on the bus. Not that they would be there for long, of course. But, as it turned out, he didn't have to leave them. He had been about to move back to his own group to kill Duck Butt (he had just noticed the hands...) when Tsunade pointed at Herai. Sai watched as Herai got assigned to be their escorts. How utterly perfect. He wasn't sure why he was...Hm...He thought for a moment for the right emotion before carefully selecting happy. He wasn't sure why he was so happy about Herai being forced to be with them, but then again, he had never been good at figuring these sorts of things out, so he didn't bother to ponder it for long. He just contently walked on the other side of Herai (since Violet was still clinging to her other arm) and into the room, to the table, and sat next to her. He watched with some interest as she pulled out some kind of drink and took a sip of it. It smelled fruity and...Strange. He wasn't sure he wanted to try it...He didn't even notice the many other girls at the surrounding tables. He was much too busy studying Herai. He was very sure the moment he got the chance, he would take a quick sketch of her. And this new world...He usually drew abstract, yes, but he needed to be able to show the others, such as Sakura-chan and Kakashi, where they had been and he was sure they wouldn't appreciate the abstract take on their new surroundings. He gave Duck Butt a cold, very cold, look as he questioned Herai in that smug, little spoiled brat tone. He still smiled, but it was accompanied by a look that showed just how much hatred he had for the Duck Butt traitor. He gave Temari a blank look, before turning to Herai. "I would love to hear about the ranking system, Miss Herai." he said in a fake cheery voice. The others could deal with him picking her side. Not like they liked him anyway...
Nobody liked her! Violet had blushed in embarrassment when Herai had laughed and told her to calm down. Maybe she might have overreacted...But there was something off about him! And while she wasn't often right about much of anything, when she thought there was something off, there was something off. Why? She didn't know...Maybe it was an animal instinct or something...Since she felt like prey so much, she was more in touch with the 'this is a predator!' feeling...Though, she often acted as if everyone were predator, that was just because she didn't always think about it...But when she felt like something was off, then something was off! She glanced at Herai, biting her bottom lip as her best friend made nice with the weird boy...She tried to shush her when she gave their names, but to no avail. Sai? Just Sai? No last name? She tried to give Herai a 'See! He is weird! I'm right!' look, but she felt as if it were ignored. As they stepped off the bus, her backpack weighing her down, she forgot all about Sai. High. School. Her eyes went wide in terror as she saw all the people, older then them, and the huge building. Her legs shook and she felt dizzy. Without a second thought, she clung onto Herai's arm, trying to make herself as small as possible. She shouldn't have dyed her hair! Everyone was looking at her! Everyone was whispering and laughing at her! She felt a cold spot on her back, and felt as if a million eyes were on her. "Gaman dekinai. I can't do this...Gaman dekinai, Herai-chan...Can't endure, Herai-chan..." she whispered to her friend, shaking her head quickly. She froze like a deer in the headlights when the principal was suddenly focused on them. Wait. What?! "We can't do that!" she tried to protest, but it came out more as a squeak. She peered at the transfer students. None of them looked very happy. Not very happy at all. She had no idea how Herai remained so calm as they went into the Cafeteria and sat at a table. She ended up sitting next to Herai and the dark, brooding boy from before. She made a small attempt to smile at him, to try to be nice, but was met with a cold glare. She quickly dropped the smile, looked away, and scooted closer to Herai, if that was at all possible. She was sure the boy was ready to kill her...And why were there so many girls near them? She didn't dare make eye contact with them, but really, she was feeling trapped at this point. Yes, the transfer boys were almost ridiculously handsome, but...She gulped. What if one them tried to kill her and take her place as an escort?! She would have to beg for her life and let them know that she had no desire to be an escort and would gladly give them the job. She blinked at Herai as she actually started a conversation with them. Was she actually going to try to teach them about the school? She had assumed they would just show them their classes and lockers and then run away as soon as possible. But maybe that had just been her plan...She flinched when the boy next to her spoke to Herai like that and looked up to frown at him. Yes, she could be brave when it came to defending Herai! It was the least she could do, after all. But when the girl spoke up as well, Violet didn't frown at her, instead giving Herai a questioning glance...She blinked when Sai spoke up and nodded in agreement with him. Maybe she had been wrong about him. She looked at him from across Herai and quickly decided no. She had still be right about him. There was just something off about him...

Kisame had spent that whole night looking for his fellow Akatsuki members. But they were no where to be found. Now it was early in the morning and he was outside the nearest village, a very small thing that didn't even have a inn to stay in. He leaned against a tree, looking up at the sky. Damn it! Where had they gone? He thought that maybe they had gone back towards headquarters, but there was no way Deidara would have left him behind. Itachi, either. And there was no way they had thought he was dead or anything. They would have checked, even if they were busy killing Orochimaru. So where were they? What could have happened? "Damn it!" he shouted, slamming a fist into the ground beside him. Then he shut himself up, hearing voices coming his way. He did a few tired hand signs (he had been up all night...) that kept him and his strong chakra hidden. He watched as two Konoha and one Suna shinobi walked past. Kisame recognized one as Kakashi Hatake. He listened to them talk, the only girl asking in a tone that implied she had said it many times before where they could have gone. He frowned. wait. They were missing people, too? Had they showed up while he had been knocked out? Wow...He must have missed a good fight...s**t. Maybe they knew what had happened to his people? But they would never tell him. No way. Damn it! He would have to try! If it meant finding Itachi and his firefly again, then he had to try anything. He lifted the jutsu and stood up, leaving Samehada leaning against the tree. "Hey! Wait!" he held his hands up in defense, not blaming them for going into attack position. "I don't want to fight, really. It's just...You guys are missing people, right? Well. I'm missing people, too. I know you have no reason to believe me. Yeah, I know. But this has nothing to do with Akatsuki or villages or anything. I'm missing my partner and someone who is very, very freaking important to me, as well as two other people...Do you guys at least know what happened?" he asked, letting the desperation he felt seep into his voice. He usually wasn't the type to let his weaknesses be on display. What self respecting shinobi was? But this wasn't a mission, wasn't anything. It was just him...Asking for help. Whatever helped him find his people.
=^-^=^-^=^-^=
s**t. Temari was going to freaking kill him. If he ever found her. And Gaara. He felt a ache in his chest, as he remembered he had been too slow. He had watched his brother and sister risk their lives for that traitor and Naruto...And he hadn't been there to risk his life, too. He had been sure Orochimaru had killed them with that golden glowing thing...But Kakashi had said he had recognized it as some kind of portal thing. He had said he had thought it was a legend that those kinds of jutsus existed. They had only ever been talked about in very old scrolls...He said his brother and sister and the rest could be anywhere...Anywhere at all. There was no way to know. Only Orochimaru knew, since he obviously had gained some information on the subject. But with only Kakashi, him, and Sakura...Well. They weren't exactly ready to take on Orochimaru and his lackies. But s**t. What was he going to do without Temari? Sure, he and her fought a lot, but what siblings didn't? And they had never meant any of it...He would give anything to hear her bossy, insulting voice right now. What was Suna going to do without Gaara? He didn't know if he could handle the whole village in his sibling's absence...He just didn't have the brain for village politics. And, of course, Sakura and Kakashi were upset, too. s**t. Sakura hadn't shut up since the whole thing happened...Not that he could blame her, but it was hard to think when she wouldn't stop blathering on about what they to do to get back Naruto. Like right now. Once again she asked where they could be. It didn't matter where they were! Though...Damn it he hoped they weren't getting hurt. He didn't want to imagine his sister and brother getting hurt. He had wanted to make sure Gaara never got hurt again! He had failed at the one thing he wanted to do good at! He was useless...He actually probably wouldn't even have noticed the Akatsuki member, too deep in his thoughts, if the man hadn't of spoken up. Apparently, Kakashi and Sakura had better reactions then him as they both jumped into attack mode. He quickly did the same. No way in hell did he want to deal with Akatsuki while his siblings were missing. They already had Orochimaru to deal with, wasn't that enough? The shark looking man starting to talk. He didn't...Seem like he was going to fight. But it was an Akatsuki member...But then again, they usually jumped right to the point. They had never been the types to try to trick people into going with them. And what would be the point in him saying he didn't want to fight them? None of them were any use to Akatsuki, so he had no reason to lie to them about fighting. And why would he lie about his people being missing? Sure, if they hadn't seen Orochimaru making his siblings disappear, then maybe he would've thought it was some kind of trap set by Akatsuki. But Akatsuki didn't work with Orochimaru...And besides, the guy sounded as desperate as he felt. He looked at Kakashi and Sakura, wondering what they should do. On one hand, it was Akatsuki and on principle they were not supposed to be nice to Akatsuki...But...Well. Like the guy had said, this really wasn't a village against Akatsuki thing. It was a people wronged against Orochimaru thing. The enemy of my enemy is my friend or something, right? And they all damn well knew they were going to need all the help they could get to take down Orochimaru and get the information they needed...
Ah... This one could prove to be troublesome. Herai locked her gaze onto the raven-haired Skater when he decided to interrupt her. Names? That was for when they got to class and had to preform the 'ice-breaker' activities. Right now they had to get the basics down and out of the way, or it would cause trouble later. They only had fifteen minutes before the five-minute bell rang. Then they would have to rush to their designated class, and she didn't want to get lost this time. Before she could answer him the blonde woman spoke up, asking about the scheduals. ...She hadn't gotten those already? Well maybe a different member of the group had them in his posession. Might as well answer systematically. "You should have recieved them before the Term started. Maybe another one of you has them?" The Red-headed Senior spoke up, saying that he had all the documents. "Would you mind passing them out? You'll have to go your seperate ways soon, and it would be best to figure out if you have any classes together." Right, then. Now that that was underway... Herai turned back to the Skater-Punk with the spiked hair, letting her polite smile slip off her face and stared him down with her usual blank expression. "I will learn your names when I must, but until then I'll call on you as I like." She wasn't sure if she liked his eyes. They reflected some of the darker emotions of human beings... But she turned her attention away from him and back to the one they had met earlier, Sai, giving him one of her better smiles. Now he was pleasent enough, even if his eyes were a bit blank. "Thank you, Sai. Now let's see..." She turned her attention to the general group, making sure that they were all listening. "Among the Students there are four main Ranks. The Freshmen, fourteen and fifteen years of age, and the youngest students in the school. Then the Sophmores, fifteen and sixteen, who are a little more respected. The Juniors, sixteen and seventeen, who share many of the rights that the Seniors have. The Seniors, seventeen and eighteen, are the eldest and are prepping for Graduation. They are the smallest group, as many of the Slackers simply drop out of High-School by that point. The Ranks are also reffered to as Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelvth Grade. There are Sub-Levels, Cliques, and Clubs, but they are less important. Just know where you stand and find your Cliques quickly." A lesson remembered from her failure to fit in during the Elementary days and finding her way in Middle School. "Populars and Jocks go well together, but usually fight with the Geeks and Goths. Artsies and Drama kids stick together, but avoid the Slackers and Gang-Bangers. You'll understand soon enough." Herai shrugged and moved on. "With the Teachers... They're all on mostly the same level. Janitors are ignored. Be wary of Police. Respect the general Teachers and Coaches, and try to make connections with them. Avoid Counselors, Vice-Principals, and the Principal. The last three have great control over your school life." She glanced around, making sure that everyone had their scheduals in front of them before pulling out her own. "Your Schedual has your name and ID number. The ID is used to take books from the Lybrary and buy food from the Cafeteria, and also when dealing with the Counselors and Principals. Memorize it. On the back is a map of the the school, although it's not very helpful. This is the Cafeteria, where we have out Lunch. Out of the Cafeteria and to the left is the area for the Physical Classes, and for Band, Orchistra, Choir, ecetera. On the right you'll find the majority of the other classes. The halls are labeled by Letter, and the rooms by number. The first number if the floor the room is on. So... Room B111 would be in B hall, on the first floor, in the eleventh room. Easy to navigate, once you've gotten used to it. There are Seven Periods, consisting of nearly an hour each with five minutes inbetween to get to your next class. There are four half-an-hour Lunches which are divided by the students. Your Teacher for that Class will tell you if you have A, B, C, or D Lunch. Find your friends and claim a table quickly, for it will be yours for the rest of the year. There will be Text-Books, and you will have to bring them to their designated class. Now, if you wish you can ask for a locker from a Counselor, and you can store the books in there until they're needed." Herai paused glancing around the table for a second. She let her gaze hold Violet for a moment or two before moving on. "Any questions?"
Too many questions! How did they make such a continuous path of stone? Why did everything seem so regimented and ordered? What were those shiny mini-bus-like-things and how did they work? What were they called? What made those hanging things glow? Too many questions, and no answers! Well, he was sure he was bound to learn some things here! Anyways, all he'd have to do would be to ask, right? Naruto grinned at Sasuke and quickly dashed off the bus-thing when it stopped, dragging his friend behind him. He stopped and looked around, gaping in amazement. So many people! And they were all so... so different! He'd never seen people with skin that dark, and what was with those crazy hair-styles? And most of them seemed to be really loud and excitable. Just his kind of people! Although... He cocked his head to the side, glancing at a couple groups of girls around them. Aw, come on... Not here too! It looked like the Sasuke Fan-Club was starting up again. ...But, surely, in a school this big, he wouldn't come out as the Prince of the School again. Right? Whatever, they were almost inside now. But- Hey! Tsunade-baachan! Man... It really couldn't be her, though. the Tsunade they knew wouldn't just gloss over them. Ah, wait! Escorts? What were they, Ambassadors or something? Well, whatever. The girls actually seemed pretty nice, and they weren't giving Sasuke googly-eyes. The copper-haired one had a very... Iruka-ish air to her somehow. Weird. The little purple girl seemed a little bit more like a brighter Hinata. Naruto and Sasuke followed the girls over to a little circular table and ended up next to Temari, with the little purple girl near Sasuke. He shook his head when Sasuke glared at her. Geez. Couldn't he be nice to someone some of the time? Oh well. That was just a side-effect of being locked up with snobby, vicious snakes for so long. He'd have his Sasuke back to normal soon enough. Naruto nodded when Sasuke asked about the names. Well, it was only natural to want to know everyone's names. He cocked his head to the side, frowning a little when she answered Temari's question first. Yeah, it was a good question he guessed, even though he had no idea what they'd use a schedual for, but Sasuke asked his question first. And... She didn't seem all too pleased when she answered. Weird. And that Sai was such a suck-up! But that was wierd too, since he ddidn't think he'd seen him trying to suck up to anyone before... Well before he could think too much on it the copper-haired girl started in with the Ranks. ...Okay, that seemed reasonable, even though he had no idea what the Students were doing here. Naruto followed up until she started talking about the 'Cliques.' Populars... Goths... Artsies... Gang-Bangers... What? And weren't all Teachers just Teachers? What was with the fancy names? And did he really have to memorize a bunch of stupid numbers? And Classes? They were already out of the Academy! Why did they have to go back? And what were these Civillians doing here at their age? They should be off... Doing whatever it was that Civillians did. And... Yeah, he was completely lost with the Map and Sechedual thing. He wasn't even going to try to understand that. Oh well... Any questions? Oh, Hell yeah, but he wasn't about to let everyone else know that. Hm... Well, maybe he would, but he was sure that no one else really understood this ether. "So... Those big shiny metal things... What are they called? How do they go so fast, and why are they so noisy?" He waited a second for the girl to blink, staring at him with a very blank expression, before saying that they were cars, and he was going to have to ask a Techie about the rest of that. Well that was useful.
Well this was interesting. Neji sat next to Gaara on the bus, glancing around, making note of the kind of people they were surrounded by. His deduction? Utter idiots. He felt sorry for Temari, who had sat alone and was then having to deal with all manor of trash. Luckily, she could handle herself fairly well, so he wouldn't have to worry over her. Hm... Gaara didn't seem to be in the mood for conversation, given that absent look. Ah. It seemed that Sai was adapting well enough, even if he was met by insistant hysterics. Neji listened to the little purple girl for a moment, amused, before noticing that they were getting rather close to the building they had left before. Soon enough they filed off of the metal contraption, thrust into a crowd of people entering the school building. He noticed that most of the faces turned to stare at them, for some odd reason. Was it really so obvious that they were out of place? ...Or was it just because of a couple pretty faces? He wasn't blind to the human's physique, and he knew that they were more attractive, compared to the examples seen here. There was no reason to show any real surprise, though. Neji glanced down at Gaara, who had moved a bit closer to his side. ...Did he feel intimidated...? Surely that couldn't be the case. Still... Neji kept close to him, deciding to ignore the other humans. They were kept from entering when Tsunade appeared, assigning them Escourts. Ah. He recognized those girls. Those were the ones that Sai had tried to speak to earlier. Odd. The girls led them into a large tiled room with... Many tables. They were led down a couple of steps and to a table. Neji sat next to Gaara, simply listening to what the girls would have to say. ...Least to say that it was more than he expected. Ranks... So he would assume that he would be a Freshman or a Sophmore. Alright. But what was this about Sub-Ranks? How strange... He wasn't exactally sure what each title meant, or where they would fall into the Scheme of things, but it would be interesting to find out anyways. And the Teachers... Much more complicated than their Academy days. Neji glanced at the Scheduals that were being handed around and picked out his own, listening to the girl's explination. The ID sounded important. 110254... Alright then. The navigation sounded simple enough as well. It would be easy enough to find his way around. Seven Classes... Ah, so that's what the Schedual was for. First Period... Pre-AP English. What did that mean? ...He might as well get one of theses 'lockers' as well. Neji looked up again when it seemed like the girl was done, ready to voice his current question when Naruto spoke up. ...Hm. He had been wondering about that, but wasn't it a bit... Well, idiotic to ask that? From the girl's reaction it was clear that it was common knowlage. Now, an opening. "What, exactally, does the Pre-AP mean? And what is the content of our classes?" A logical question, unlike Naruto's. ... Ah. Pre- Advanced Placement... Credit for Collage? He wasn't sure what that was, but he wasn't going to be foolish enough to ask. It would be like the car question all over again, wouldn't it?
Hmm... This girl could be useful. Sasori had spent most of hiss time on the 'Bus' going over the information presented to him in the Documents the false Hokage had given him. This place was complicated, and yet overtly simple. All of the humans here were fairly weak, and they could do nothing against their Shinobi might... But that wasn't going to help them find the portal out of here, now was it? No matter. They could play along as long as necissary. He would do other reconnisance missions once night had fallen so as to increase their chances and hurrying the process along. But... It was clear that this World was utterly forigne to them. They would need allies of some kind so as to keep the more oblivious members of their party from making all too many mistakes. And so Sasori examined some of the children around them, calculating their usefulness in his head and had to dissmiss nearly all of them. Was it really so hard to find good minions in this World? Sasori stood and guided Itachi off of the bus once they had reached their destination, gazing around at all of the incapable children around them. How pathetic. By now, all of these children should be accomplished and mature Shinobi of their Village, Genin or Chunin level... But they were all just children. He ignored any looks they may have recieved, having now dismissed the children, and simply led the way to the building. It was a bit of a surprise for the false Hokage to show up and assign a couple of Escorts to them. He gave them a once-over, branding the little purple girl as a weak Civillian that would only make a good hostage. The copper-haired and green-eyed girl, however, seemed to at least have her wits about her, however weak she might be. He allowed the girls to lead them to the table in the Cafeteria, sitting with Itachi on his left and Deidara on his right. Hm. Deidara didn't seem to be all too comfortable. Sasori sent Hidan a quick glare for his obsene behavior before focusing back on the situation at hand. Ah. the Scheduals. "I have them, along with the rest of the Documents." His eyebrow twitched a little when the girl asked him to hand them out. Sure, it was a request, but a request could quickly slip over into an order. Whatever. He'd make sure that the girl understood who was in charge later. For now Sasori slipped off his pack and slipped the papers out of his bag, handing them over to Deidara after selecting ones that would be suitable for Itachi and himself. (You know, I was kinda thinking. It doesn't have to be all that far-fetched for Sasori and everyone to keep their given names, since they're Forigners and everything.) He barely listened as she began to explain how the Ranks worked. He knew all of this already. ...Although, he hadn't read that bit about the ... What was the word? Cliques? Hm. Well, the Children seemed to have established their own pecking order within the School. How interesting. Other than that, there was nothing new. He raised an eyebrow at the Kyuubi Jinchuriki and his obviously stupid question. It might be something they wanted to know, but it was obvious that everyone in this World was used to the presance of things like buses. He would have to keep the idiot from making more obvious mistakes. It could cost them their Identity. "Well," Sasori stood, giving a slight, descrete, tug to Itachi's sleeve for him to stand as well. "Seeing as you have gone over the majority of necissary information, we have some buisness to take care of." And with that Sasori left their party and the two Escorts, making sure to take Itachi with him. He'd read something about the Nurse's Office being able to prescribe corrective glasses, and he wanted to help Itachi get rid of his vision problem as soon as possible. For several reasons. "Stay close," He said once they were far enough away from the rest of their group, leading him past several more Children while making sure that he didn't fall behind. "We're going to correct your eye-sight." The Office was the first room on the left in B Hall. Ah. There it was. Sasori paused by the door for a second, knocking before entering. The Nurse seemed to be a young woman with short black hair. (Shizune.) "Excuse us, but my friend lost his glasses some time back, and we were wondering if we could get a new pair." Well, wouldn't this be interesting...
This was Hell all over again, he was sure of it. Deidara leaned his head against the window, trying to ignore Hidan and his unseemly advances with all his might. This b*****d simply did not know when enough was enough, did he? What a man-slut... Sure, Deidara had been a bit of a player a while back, and that kinda led to him landing Kisame, but he did have Kisame now! He had Kisame now, and he knew Kisame hated it when he even flirted with others, guys or girls. ...Guys especially. Oh... If he had his clay now, this b*****d would have been blown to Yukigakure by now! Deidara tried avoiding and ignoring the b*****d as they entered the building, but in doing that he also ended up ignoring everything else around him, so he missed the girls getting assigned to them and getting into the Cafeteria. And all while the little girlie was talking he was having to fight off the b*****d's questing hand. The mouth on his hand snipped and bit his hand away, even though the guy even tasted like blood. Disgusting. He hoped that they'd get to wherever they needed to be soon so he could ditch this freak. Then, suddenly, Sasori-Danna stood with Itachi, saying something about having buisness to attend to. "Ah- Hey, wait a minute Danna!" What would the freak do if Danna was gone, not here to keep control over him? The freak didn't care where they were or what they were doing. "Sasori-Danna!" Deidara scowled after him, furious at his abandonment. And taking that Uchiha with him instead of his own Partner? Ugh! Was there no justice in this World?
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
There was no justice in this World. There couldn't be, not after what they had just seen. They had been so close... So bleeding close! They'd found Sasuke, they'd nearly caught him! And then there was that blinding golden light that had swallowed Naruto, and Sasuke, and Sai, and nearly everyone else. The only ones left were Kakashi-Sanei, Kankuro, and herself... It just wasn't fair! They'd been so close, and they'd just lost everyone! But they did have a couple leads... Kakashi-Sensei had said that the golden light was a portal or something. A very old Forbidden Jutsu that everyone had said to be a Legend... But if that was the case then they must have gone somewhere! "They couldn't have gone that far, could they? We just have to find them!" But they had no way of knowing where they landed, and the only one who might have a clue would be... Orochimaru... But they couldn't just very well go on their jolly way and just march on in there to demand an answer. Now, if they had NAruto or Gaara, that would be a different story, but with just the three of them? There was no way... Wait- Where did that powerful Chakra come from? Sakura whirled around to face a Shark-like Akatsuki member. ...She remembered this one! It was that Hoshigaki Kisame guy, the one one that was teamed up with Uchiha Itachi! And... And he was missing people? His partner, Itachi... Someone important, so that would have to be his girl-friend... And two other Akatsuki guys? ...He didn't sound like he was going to double-cross them or anything, especially if his team-mates had been spirited away as well. Sakura's stance relaxed a little as she thought, worrying her bottom lip. Finally she just glanced over to Kakashi, letting him decide whether or not to trust him. "Kakashi-Sensei?"
Kakashi couldn't believe this. It was just... Impossible. Utterly impossible. That Jutsu was just the thing of legends, of stories. No one had ever actually thought of it as being real. The thought that a portal existed that could warp space and time existed was simply unfathomable... And yet, he supposed that every Myth was grounded partially in truth. He had refused to believe his eyes when that light had taken their team-mates and vanished, but now it was sure that it was the only thing that could have happened. And the only way they had a chance of finding them or getting them back would be to confront Orochimaru, and force him to tell them how he had created the portal. ...Maybe if they opened the Portal again the others could find their way back to them. Kakashi pulled himself out of his thoughts when he heard Sakura's attempt to consol herself. He knew she had been devistated when the others had vanished, and he knew that speaking thoughts like these aloud was one of the ways she held herself together. She'd done much the same thing when Sasuke had first dissapeared... Hm? This Chakra... An enemy? Kakashi pulled out a kunai and quickly got into an offensive position. He recognized the Chakra from the last time he confronted it, and his suspicions were confirmed when the man stepped out of the trees. Hoshigaki Kisame of the Akatsuki. ...Somehow he didn't seem as threatening when he was pleading and wasn't about to shred you with that large sword of his. Where was it anyways? ... Kakashi listened to Hoshigaki's story, only minutly relaxing his stance. So members from his group had vanished as well? He could almost be certain that they'd gone with their team, and if he was as sincere as he sounded... Kakashi put his kunai away for now, deciding to trust Hoshigaki's story at the moment. He could be just the muscle power they needed to infiltrate Orochimaru's lair. "...It is possible that they could be where our team members have dissapeared too. Orochimaru cast a long forgotten Kenjutsu. A portal, which warps space and time. They could have been sent anywhere. The only solution we can think of is to force Orochimaru to cast the Jutsu again, and hope that it will Summon them back.
