So, today was a day full of epicness. Well, most of the day at least. It started with me waking up at like 7:45am for an appointment only to reschedule it because I didn't feel good. Then I went back to sleep and had to wake up at 9am to call in work since I was on call. As usual, I didn't have to work, so I went back to sleep. I then finally woke up for good at 10am because I had to go to another appointment at 11am down in Santee.
After the whole appointment thing I started to drive around and went to Gamestop because I promised Murphy I would buy a game for him since I never buy him anything. The Gamestop in Santee didn't have it, so I started to go to the ones in the mall. However, Krys happened to text me and wanted to come with me because she was bored. Instead of waiting for her to get ready at the mall, I drove over to her house, went inside, and laid upon her bed until she got out of the shower and got ready. While I was waiting, Murphy called her phone and I contemplated for a while on whether or not I should answer until finally picking up the phone and answering with "Krystin's phone, this is The Bree!"
After Krys was ready, we decided we were going over to Murphy's house so we could pick him up and all hang out at the mall. Basically once we got to the mall, he was complaining to me about the game (********, which I just lost...) and kept telling me how much he wanted it. We wandered around for a bit until Lena decided to show up after Krys text her even though I had called her earlier and even left a voice message. b***h... We then had delicious Panda Express and then afterward, started wandering around once again.
After a while of wandering around, we eventually ran into Apollo and he decided to hang out with us as well; however, Lena had to leave at that exact time. Okay, so basically, the epic part started when Murphy started ranting about how we were on a quest. Then we were like, "Apollo has joined your party!" and stuff.
After about an hour of hanging out at Best Buy and the mall with a couple of Krys's friends, we (Murphy, Apollo, and I) decided we wanted to ditch them and just go find the game. Then apparently, Krys had told Roy about what we were doing and he wanted to hang out with us and stuff. So when we drove to Hollywood Video to look for Murphy's game, Roy met up with us and we all drove together from there.
We basically went to about nine different game stores to look for this game Murphy had to have. When we were in Walmart, Krys and Roy went off somewhere else while Murphy, Apollo, and I roamed around for the game. we then started talking about Final Fantasy and stuff and about this quest. We then related ourselves to Final Fantasy characters from FFX and started talking like we were in the game. Even at one point, when we had to look at the Grossmont Mall directory, I was like, "Wait! Pause the game! I have to look at the town map!"
So apparently in general, I'm the white mage that stands back and heals and supports everyone, Krys is a black mage, Roy is a rogue, Murphy is a swordsman, and Apollo. . . Well, I forgot. But it was so epic! Cause we basically kept talking like we really were on an epic quest all night! And when we eventually got the game from Best Buy, we even did the whole Final Fantasy music like when you defeat an opponent. Plus, we were like, "YAY! Experience points!" Also, throughout the night we would "use" Phoenix Downs and spells like Cheer and Cure whenever someone was down for suddenly got hurt.
Overall, it was epicness and amazing.
