Chapter 4 Part 2 Invasion Well, as usual, the day before the final strike was a major party and people were celebrating for victory. I just decided to rest over near Govind’s house and just watch everyone party out. I am not really the party type. Govind was acting like he usually did a bit wacky yet still a strong independent person. Yuuki was also enjoying herself, laughing at many of Govind’s tactics of humor. Soon Govind was trying to bring me closer and he and Yuuki tag-team me over. He then had others gathered around too. He brought Yuuki, Jordan and me to the front with him. Then he said, “Attention, everyone.” Everyone turned towards him. “Tonight, we celebrate and prepare for the battle ahead. I thank you for staying by our side. Let us drink to our fallen, our families, and to victory tomorrow.” Everyone took a gulp and cheered. “Now, it is time to rest. Tomorrow we fight.” They all soon disbursed into their house areas while we headed to Govind’s. Govind and I slept on the ground while Yuuki slept in the bed. We all fell asleep till Govind shook me a bit. I woke up and he asked. “Hey, Nobody?” “Yeah?” I replied, “How is Hikari?” “She is doing great. She has two sisters, so I made sure she was safe in the protected area.” “You do realize if Navimle finds out, she and her sisters will be hunted down immediately.” “Yes, that is why I took three precautions.” “What are they?” “Well, one I put a clone of me to follow him, two if I am caught and my mask is being removed by anyone but me, it will send shocks through them and never take it off, and third-. “WILL YOU TWO GO TO BED? Sorry, but I need my sleep.” Yuuki said with a bit of a nervous in her tone. We closed our mouths and went to sleep. That night, I had dreams about Hikari, Govind, and I when we were kids. Things like school days, dances, protecting Hikari, and other random things. I felt very happy in that dream. Then all of a sudden dark clouds began to surround me, I try to reach out my hand to Govind and Hikari, but they vanished in a second. I ran in the direction towards them but nothing but darkness. Then I turned around and saw a pair of red eyes staring at me. They blinked and then the out line of a giant hand began to draw near me. I tried to run, but it was no use. Just as the hand was about to reach me, I woke up. The day was beginning and Govind and Yuuki were preparing. Govind had his giant green staff and a small pistol that was loaded with one fancy looking bullet. “Why one?” I asked. “You’ll see.” He said with a scary look on his face. Yuuki was dressed up like a mage and was also carrying a staff with a crystal that had the symbol for infinity on it. I looked just like I always did. I grabbed my mask and put it on. We walk towards the front of the crowd outside. Everything was quiet. We silently marched up to the streets where many people watched us pass by towards the Upper Lands. They looked at us probably like we were stupid or everything was hopeless or what was going on. A small boy escaped his mother’s grasp and gave a flower to Yuuki for her hair. She thanked and told him to stay close to his mother and he disappeared behind us. Soon we were in the Upper Lands and soldiers were in front of us. “CHARGE!!!” Shouted Govind. We began running forward Yuuki stayed behind as Govind and I began knocking away the people in front of us. We were set to not kill and Yuuki would heal all that haven’t died yet. The thing was to take out the people in front of us and continue till we were at Muandrog’s castle. It seemed like most of Muandrog’s soldiers were here and plowing through them was getting a bit tougher to do. I got shot in the chest a few times, but with my new armor it was deflected and I suffered no damage. As we were running, I saw Navimle and my clone escape, and I had the perfect shot at Navimle, but he had to be last, so I continued onwards while I let the coward escape. The castle was coming up. It was a old fashion Medieval looking castle that was made of stone with banners draping from the castle with Navimle’s symbol on it which is him saying “Obey or Suffer.” We soon reached the castle and once everyone assembled. We found some suffered a few bad wounds, but not deadly and some of us were dead. Yuuki came up to join Govind and me. “Okay, ready?” said Govind. “Yes.” Said everyone. He turned to us. “Ready, Nobody? Yuuki-chan?” “As I ever will be.” I said. “Of course.” Yuuki said with a big smile. “Right, now lets open the door.” All three of us pushed open the big wooden door and went inside. The castle looked like a mix of regular and medieval style furniture and other things. It was a long hallway and sets of stairs were in front of us. We rushed forward then out of nowhere. The Robo-Guard commander fell from above. “WE MEET AGAIN HUMANS. NOW YOU DIE!” He summoned a bunch of Robo-Guards and combine both with them and the items in the room to form a Super Robo-Guard. Dang we had a hard time fighting it a first time, now this. Then everyone behind us started to take down the Robo-guard. “GO!” said Jordan, “We’ll take care of the Robo-guard. You go after ‘Chompers.’ ” “But,” said Yuuki. “Don’t worry, we can handle it. Trust us.” Yuuki looked nervous, but Jordan grabbed her shoulder and shook his head. Yuuki turned backed and gave Jordan some kind of enchantment. “Be safe, Jordan” “I will, Yuuki Nee-chan.” He turned and jumped into the fray. Yuuki cried a bit, but got herself back together and the three of us headed up the stairs. After about 5 flights of stairs, we were in another long hallway to ‘Chompers’ Muandrog’s room. We walked down the hallway when the lights began to dim. We began to protect ourselves when a single pair of footsteps came from the way to the room. The lights began to brighten again when an old man in a nice gray suit appeared before us. “Greetings, young ones,” he said, “how do you do?” “Who are you old man?” said Govind. “My my children today, don’t know how to respect their elders.” He sighed. He was a relatively young old man. He had a white handlebar mustache, a monocle, and an old fashion bowler hat. He had a cane in his left hand looked ordinary. He also had some stains on his suit, red ones… “Now I’ll teach you some manners.” He lifted his cane into the air and symbols appeared on it and it turned into a sword. “Run, now.” I said and ran up to confront him are blades clashed. “Now now, I guess you are the Nobody of Twilight.” “Yes and I suppose you are one of Navimle’s bounty hunters?’ “Correct, old sport, I am the Gentleman Bounty Hunter.” We began to walk in circles. “No name?” “I only tell my name to those who beat me.” “and no one has I guessed?” “Correct again, old sport.” We backed away and set our swords at our sides. “So do you want to fight in anyway specifically?” “An honor match, first to fall wins. Note when you fall, you’ll die.” “Heh, a true gent, eh?” “Correct. Fine, but I get a request if I win.” “Fair enough.” “Give me a few minutes?” I asked. “Very well.” He replied while setting his sword down like a cane. I went over to Govind and Yuuki. “You guys okay? I asked. “More or less.” Govind replied. “Hey you guys, can you finish off Muandrog?” I asked them. “Yes, we will right Yuuki-chan?” “Yes, we will.” They both began to run towards the door and as Govind passed me, he said, “Don’t die.” “You and Yuuki too.” I replied. “So you’re ready now, boy?” The Gentleman asked. “As ready as you are.” I replied. Govind and Yuuki made it to the door and disappeared behind it. “Don’t take you eyes off your opponent, boy, or else.” He vanished, I looked everywhere then I felt the coldness of metal near my neck. “You’ll die.” Meanwhile, on the other side of the door, Govind and Yuuki stood in front of Muandrog. “Well, well, well, if it isn’t you, both of you.” He chuckled. “SHUT UP!” Govind was losing his temper, a first for him. “What, don’t I get a hello, son?” “YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER.” “Oh, but I am.” Yuuki looked at him in sort of a scared way and turned away. He saw this and began to cry and drew out his gun. “You still have that pathetic gun your mom gave you.” “It is the only thing that’ll kill you, you Troll.” “Troll, heh, far from it I am just a small half-giant like you, but can you kill your own father?” Govind trembled and lowered his gun, his father came up and hug him with a knife slowly reaching towards the back of his head.
