im gonna show u how our professor showed it to us... here are the first six lines of the poem..
The, bright, Centipede, Begins, his, stampede! O, celestial, Engine, from, What, celestial province! His, spiritual, might, Golding, the, night, --
yeah yeah... honestly, while i was listening to the professor, i said to myself "what a cute centipede! oh... the centipede is slowly climbing down a tree..." yeah... i was thinking that way... got curious about all the comma thing? heh... our prof said, "look at the commas. imagine the poem written in a continuous straight line." and then asked us "wat do u think it resembles?" the answer is "a centipede"... yeah... it resembles a centipede... centipede is known for their hundred paired legs...but there's something deeper than that... khkhkh... here are the last six lines of the poem...
His, spiritual, eyes, Foretelling, my, Size; His, spiritual, feel, Stamping, in, heat, The, radium, brain, To, spiritual, imagination.
and now, wat's on yer mind? eh? speak the truth... haha!! when our prof told us that the poem is really about S*X, i reread the poem coz i couldnt believe that the wholesome-started poem is really about that spiritual and mechanical thing--S*X... whoah! i couldnt help myself but to say "uh-huh... mkay" khkhkh... wat's even worse is that, the deeper meaning of this very SYMBOLIC commas is that what they really represent is the private organ of the male...
you see that? eh? it look like a P_ _ _ S!! ugh! yeah... literature always surprise me... i must say that..
