Years later, when it was discovered that he still lived, Matt was allowed to once more enter K.S.M.L. He was welcomed by Sora and Ty, Andrea, and all the other people who’d considered him both friend and family. The only difference? T.k wasn’t there to greet him, nor was he there to walk back into town with him.
Now his return wasn’t without strings. Galexy, a ‘friend’ of Andrea and Kari’s guardian fought furiously for him to be welcomed back. Much to everyone’s surprise, for Galexy wasn’t known for her emotions. The terms for his contract, or the rules that he must never break, were simple and given to him straight out. First, come the full moon he was to be tied in the forest, far from civilization. Second, he was to learn control, it would be a slow process but with a teacher it was possible. And Third, should he attack any of his friends or family, or the love of his life. He would be termed completely beyond help, and would therefore be banished permanently, and should he return he’d be killed.
Now if you didn’t include T.k his family was very small, consisting of Sora and her mother Andrea. Beside that he had his best friends; Ty, and a human named Ash. Ty’s family were like an extension to his small group. Ty’s little sister Kari, was like his own little sister. Ty’s father Dracula and his mother Eve were like his father and second mother. He loved them all. Even though Dracula was the one who’d killed his own father.
But the person he loved the most, was a girl named Mimi. Besides his brother, who was now gone, Mimi was the one he’d kill himself to protect. He’d probably do the same for any of his other friends but there was no doubt that he would do anything and more for her. He’d been in love with her since they were children. In fact the first day he saw her, he’d known he wouldn’t stop until they were married. Even if she told him ‘no’ a thousand times, he’d always be there, protecting her and loving her. No matter how much it would hurt him to do so.
Now, Mimi was the daughter of Mother Nature, born when the great goddess fell in love with a mortal. Her father was killed brutally one night and her mother in her grief left Mimi on the island of Avalon, only to slowly deteriorate until her own death a few years later. Mimi knew neither of her parents but when Eve and Andrea found out about her they brought her to K.S.M.L so that they could raise her with their own children, having been friends with Mimi’s mother, they wanted to keep the last reminder of their old friend close.
Together they gave Mimi her father’s last name, digging it up from rumors and finding that it fit her well.
Rose, Mimi Rose, looked just like her mother. Soft chestnut, brown curls that looked almost red in the sunlight, and big blue eyes. It was no wonder that Matt never saw anyone but her whenever she was around. She smelled always of flowers and after she gained her mother’s power over the element of earth, and walked without shoes plants and grass would sprout beneath her bare feet.
