"ellapsem semel occasionem non ipse potest iuppiter reprehendere" - Latin Proverb
Not even Jupiter can find a lost opportunity.
Not even the king of all gods can take back what he has done.
... ... Before making a decision, I always think "what will this choice do to me?" and "what will this choice do to others?" There's no possible way I can just take back what I've done. There's no possible way to take back what you've done. "The World Spins Madly On". But what if there was? What if time travel existed in our world? Could that erase any mistake we've done? I think not. Say you hurt a person emotionally with words. Overwhelmed by guilt, you decide to transfer your consciousness back in time to your body before you made the choice to hurt this person. Before the damage would've been done, you decide to just ignore this person. This person was never hurt by your comment... therefore your guilt never existed... right? You still did it. You still hurt this person... just not in /this/ timeline. In that other timeline, that person is still recovering from what you did. You /should/ still have the guilt resulting from what you did in that timeline, I mean, you /are/ the same conscious. You see? No matter what you do, no matter what is possible, you cannot take back what you have done. Always think about what you do. ... ... Not even the king of all gods can take back what he has done.
Not even Jupiter can find a lost opportunity.
