Lately I have been spending my days feeling a bit sad. Daddy has married off most of my siblings. He also helped them find a place for them and their newfound families. I am what's left of his children. *sighs* I hate it. Sometimes I sit in my room daydreaming of the good ole days when everybody was here in the house together. I miss those days. They were fun. Now, its mostly quiet around the house.
At the last wedding we were at, everybody seem to have been on the same page. When was he going let me fly? Well, the good news is, some day. The bad news is, he plans to pick out when that will be. Great father he is but sometimes he can be a bit overprotective. He told everybody that he got a friend of his teaching me music, and plans to get another person that he knows to teach me something else which I dont remember what it was.
Everybody told me that I am blessed that he is my daddy. With him knowing so many Christian people, him being a pastor and all, I got it easy. They said, most people have to run around looking for help. They said I don't have to ever worry about doing that though. Since my daddy is a pastor it means that he can talk to people that he know and see if they know somebody. They added that some people have to go to college to learn their stuff and get a degree but that's something I wont have to ever worry about because my daddy is a pastor, and pastors usually talk to other pastors and to people that they know and they can always get the best of the best for their children. They also told me that I should not be letting people get me down about what I am and am not doing:
"Forget about what people say and think about you. You are your father's daughter and he is a pastor. Things are different when you are the child of somebody like that. People just like to say mean things to you because they are jealous and wish that they could have it as easy as you do with life. Don't you know that if they were in your shoes they wouldnt be talking? Remember you are a pastor's daughter. If your daddy choses for your life to go a different way than what other people's children's lives go, then OBVIOUSLY the Lord is showing him something very special and great that he (the Lord) has in your future."
I guess they are right. Right? confused
