halfway through the yashisato tag of fics,, probably not gonna be much on ff.net altho there's a few long fics that i'm only a couple of chapters in,, ahh that otp really is twisted haha i saw a comment that compared it to lvhp which, true. but i also feel like it's somewhat akin to Lxlight fics,, esp the imprisonment factor and the bleedthrough and how there is a part of each of them that can only be filled by the other. for l & light it was the intellectual part, but somehow, i don't think it's exactly that for yashiro?? maybe he's stunned at the part that he's outwitted, but that really didn't do it for him. i'ts more that he's seen - the real him and not the masks that he layers over himself. the void inside and not the marketable face created for society. and like satoru,, he's missing a male role model but if it was only that it wouldn't have mattered anyways right? like the original timeline satoru it was,, he was empty inside too, and after the revival, there was a portion of himself that he had to hide away too, that he could not let be seen. or rather even if he tells anyone he won't get the resolution that he'd want from it like,, they both need someone to be able to truth to,, to tell it to and be believed but also ,, like not tell it yet still be seen.
