I just saw the movie and it was great. The story goes that Lex Luthor got out of prison after his fifth appeal and has gone to steal valuable crystals from the Fortress of Solitude. just afterward, Superman crashes on earth again after being gone 5 years and starts to remember his childhood, when he was just figuring out his powers. The story goes on that Lois Lane is engaged to a guy named Richard (no idea his last name) and has had a son who is about 4 1/2. As the story unfolds, Lex drops one of the crystals into the sea to create a new continent as Lois and Jason (the kid) are in a study room on this yacht Lex got off a dead widow. Lois sends to the Daily Planet a fax asking for help with the coordinates of where they are. The crystal grows and starts to become this continent and Clark starts his journey to save them. The guy that was guarding Lois and Jason starts to beat on Lois and ot of the blue, the piano Jason was playing crushes the guard. The only reason for that is that he's Superman's son, but he don't know that yet. Lex throws the boy and Lois into the pantry on the yacht and leaves them to die to the kryptonite that encased the crystal. Richard attempts to save them as the crystal starts to attack the yacht and he is also forced in and trapped. Superman does save the family and goes to confront Luthor. After a breif battle, Supes is stabbed with a kryptonite dagger and stumbles into the sea. Lois, Richard and Jason save Superman and remove a part of the dagger that had broken into his skin. After that, everyone but Superman fly back to Metropolis. Supes finds the crystal that had grown into the continent and lifts it from the sea. Lex escapes, Lois and Jason are safe, what next? As Superman lifts the hunking crystal into space, he's stabbed by a part that's still growing and falls to earth. Everyone thinks he dies, but after removing another piece from his chest, he stays in a coma for a few days. While he's in that coma, Jason and Lois visit him. Jason goes over to the suit the man of steel wore and keeps looking at it as his mother tells Clark what Jason really is (you can't hear the convo cause she's whispering.).
