Soo... Here's a story I've been writing.. Hope you enjoy reading it!
Two dark forms strolled along the dark streets of Seattle not too far from the party they had just left. As they passed under a street light, it was revealed that one was a dazed-looking man and one was a stunningly pretty girl. The girl looked up at the man shyly from beneath her long lashes, seemingly innocent. Adding to the illusion were her wide, dark eyes, glistening like melted chocolate. She stepped into the shadows of an alley, beckoning him. Her eyes, which had entranced the man before, grew dark in the absence of the moonlight. They turned cold and black, black opal eyes in pale, perfect marble skin. Her full, red lips, the only color on the girl, curved into a mischievous smile. She spoke, those crimson lips parting to reveal deadly-looking incisors. “Come…” Her voice was liquid, seductive, and it seemed too old for the seventeen year old body it was coming from. The man, boy really, seeing as he was only sixteen, stumbled back with a muffled curse. He looked around, his pale eyes wide, not able to find an exit or form a plan in his hazy mind. He was already drunk from the alcohol consumed during the party, and the girl’s bewitching beauty and powerful mind only served to further muddle his thoughts. The girl stepped forward, her hand curling around his shirt collar before he had even realized she had moved. The girl didn’t bother to hide her deadly speed or unparalleled grace when she moved. She had nothing to fear there, in that dark alley. In their close proximity, the boy was able to see clearly her eyes, which had turned from brown to a bewitching amethyst. Her pupils were dilated, the black ringed by purple, her eyes wild and beautiful. Her mouth curved as his body tensed, his thoughts plain in her mind. She grabbed his hair and pulled his neck to the side, her long, sharp teeth flashing once again. She sank her teeth into the tan expanse of his neck, and he let out a small whimper. His body tensed, then went slack, his legs folding. He was held up by her arm snaked tightly around his waist. The girl’s eyes closed as she took her first sip of his blood. The crimson liquid, the vampire’s Elixir of Life, flowed freely into her mouth. She took the sweet-tasting blood in, enjoying the power and contentment she felt there. The girl knew that she had made the right decision when she accepted the gift she had been given. Drinking until her thirst abated, she pulled back to look at the dazed human boy. She let him go gently, laying him against the alley’s brick wall. He would survive. She hadn’t taken enough to kill him, just enough to sate her blood lust. She turned from the boy and leapt out into the street, letting her human form shift and become hazy. She traded human hands for claws and paws, hair and skin for silky black fur, and her mortal form for that of a cat. ‘The black cat…’ Nyx mused silently from his hiding spot atop a neighboring building. ‘…is an animal that is known to spread discord and fear. Interesting choice…’ He wasn’t surprised that the vampire hadn’t felt his presence as Nyx was skilled in cloaking his powers. He stood then, climbing over the cement barrier on the rooftop and landing quietly on the ground, four stories below. Nyx brushed the dust and dirt off of his clothing; a black tee and black cargo pants. He followed the cat, confident that she had no idea he was there.
