How do you replenish or recharge after an exhausting emotional situation?
Well, I've had my share of those (exhausting emotional situations), this week alone (shutting down my place of work next week, stupid Del Monte Center, how I hate thee)
But this is not about that, now, is it? So, I have about a billion hobbies (reading, anime, manga, cosplay, video games, the internets, counted cross stitch, learning to knit again, photography (when I get my camera fixed again)) which help take my mind off of stuff.
If it's really bad, walks by the beach. If the walk is with someone else so much the better, then I can vent and listen to their lives as well.
Sometimes I'll clean. Dishes usually. Today one of the cupboards is all dusted out and organized beautifully.
There's also the old stand by of playing with the cat. She likes it and is pretty much game for attack the feather or destroy the red dot any time, and it's really hard to exhaust her =)
PS Melanie Rawn is amazing. I feel like she's so never going to finish the last volume of the Exiles, which is frustrating to no end.
