Inkii laid in bed staring up at her ceiling. She wasn't sure what to do know, and wasn't planning on telling anyone about her day. She was glad everyone had gone to bed. She studied the poster of a popular Anime, 'Missy, Nissy.' the main character was a girl the age of ten named Missy and her pet/companion named Rex who happened to be a dragon that descuised himself as a common breed house cat.
Sighing Inkii sat up and reached to pull her journal out from between her mattress and the box springs when she stumbled upon a small hard bound book. Pulling the book out she discovered it to be a black and approximately 8”x4” with a ribbon place holder. Curios she opened it, the front page listed a detailed family history and at the bottom just under her mothers name was her. Inkii froze realizing she'd seen this book before and had never been allowed to open it before.
'Grandmother.' she thought sadly beginning to flip threw the book. She thought of her grandmother as she realized this book contained the history of her people, the Kitsune's and some of their magic and some rituals. She was almost filled with joy that such a book had been passed to her. 'I wonder when mother put this here?' she thought looking over small list of spells.
